More After the Break...
Along with the character sketches more information has leakedabout the characters that will be making an appearance. Super Smash Bros has alreadybeen confirmed for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

King K.Rool
It says something about using crocodiles (Kremlings/Klaptraps?) as part of his moveset, along with cannonballs. The last line describes using great power to summon his ship. It will then fire cannonballs on the stage. (Final Smash?)
Ghirahimu
Uses a sword and evil magic. Final Smash is calling his master.
Crystal
Will use a magic stick. She makes barrier and shoots fireballs. Final Smash involves dinosaur friends?
Saki Amamia
Acrobatic sword user with a fast gun. Final Smash is a bit iffy. Something monsters or something.
Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima has shared a picture of the stunning Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Nintendo 3DS console on Twitter, which he says will be the video game industry’s first snake pattern embossed hardware. Kojima promised that more details on the console would be revealed on January 20th.

2.- News publication The Daily is reporting that Nintendo is currently hard at work creating a full-blown app store for the Wii U. Whilst there are already small applications available for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DSi the app store for the Wii U will go far beyond this offering a much wider variety of apps.

Wii U owners will be able to use apps that operate on the Wii U itself, such as MLB.TV, and others that run independently on the Wii U’s controller. Given its tablet-like design and 6.2-inch screen, it’s not hard to imagine being able to check email, browse the Web, post to social networks and even get some gaming in

Sega has stayed true to its promise and has released a teaser trailer for Sonic 4: Episode 2. Sadly the Wii isn’t listed as one of the platforms that game will be available for but if you own a Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or a smartphone then you’ll be able to get your dose of Sonic 4, which features a new graphic engine a new physics engine and features Tails.

3.- Sony has announced that a demo will be released for the gorgeous Wipeout 2048on January 17th, which is just a few days before the game comes out on January 19th. Details on what content will be included in the demo have yet to be provided.

News publication Forbes believes Sony’s recently released PlayStation Vita is in big trouble both in Japan and the United States when it launches in February next year. Forbes even goes to say that the US launch will be a true debacle if Sony decides to launch the console at its current price point.

Sony will likely be forced to cut the price of the PS Vita from 24’000 yen to well below 20’000 yen very soon. The upcoming US launch could be a true debacle for several reasons. Sony has decided to price Vita at $250, higher than the Amazon Kindle Fire. The hottest games like the latest Uncharted are priced at $50, while many other major titles are $40. The pricing seems delusional in light of the Japanese response to the PS Vita. The older PSP handheld console has been a bigger hit in Japan than it has been in the US market. The tablet and iPhone market penetration rates in America are higher than in Japan – consumers may well be more reluctant to splurge on expensive, proprietary handheld consoles. The launch of the Kindle Fire at $200 has changed the US consumer electronics pricing environment.
