Information Update - Nintendo 3DS

1.- Nintendo is asking Club Nintendo members permission to collect users personal data as part of its new privacy policy following the massive attack on the PlayStation Network and Sony Online. Those that don’t wish to comply with the new terms and conditions will have their membership cancelled according to trade publication MCV.

“To allow us to implement additional features on our website, to improve our products and to adapt them to our users’ needs and preferences, we need your permission to gather information about your online activities on our website and with Nintendo products.”

2.-  Nintendo Greece has revealed precisely what lucky consumers are going to receive when they pre-order the highly anticipated Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS.

Those customers that pre-order the game direct from Nintendo Greece will recieve a plenthora of Ocarina of Time goodies which include a keychain, baseball cap, 3DS cover, an actual ocarina and a canister of fabled Deku Tree seeds. Sadly Nintendo of America and Nintendo Europe have yet to reveal what gifts consumers will get when they pre-order the game but expect to hear something fairly soon.

3.- UK news publication The Telegraph recently received the opportunity to speak to legendary games developer Shigeru Miyamoto about the development of Nintendo next home console which is currently known as Project Cafe. Miyamoto obviously didn’t give too much information away but it’s an interesting read nonetheless.

“Even when the Wii launched, we were developing new hardware. The creation of devices is quite speedy nowadays, and we’re always working on new ideas.”

“There’s definitely space for uniqueness in a home console,” he continued. “As you know the Wii is family orientated, played in the living room of the household. We’re hoping to evolve that, there’s a variety of options we can think of. With the more advanced devices, game design is currently at a high level.”

“Nowadays I think it’s really important that designers are really unique and individual. It’s costly if you are focussing on similar ideas, so that uniqueness is important. You can get more budget for games, but your energy must be focussed, otherwise it won’t last. Don’t focus on how many stages it’s got. Tell me if you’ve seen it before. That’s the challenge for me.”

1.- Nintendo está pidiendo a los usuarios que proporcionen cierta información de seguridad para preveer el ataque de otro Hacker como ya ha ocurrido a Sony, todos aquellos usuarios que no quieran realizar este proceso tendrán su cuenta eliminada.

2.-  Nintendo Grecia ha revelado su portada y hermosa y fantástica caja para el Videojuego más esperado del año: The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D.

Los clientes que lo reserven de Nintendo Greece recibirán un guardallaves, una gorra de béisbol, y un montón de cosas más. Nintendo of América, Nintendo of Europe, y Nintendo España están por revelarlo todavía.

3.- La Fuente no me permite la traducción, pero básicamente es lo mismo que ayer: la Nintendo Stream, Feel, Project Café será una manera nueva de jugar a videojuegos tanto para jugadores casuales, como habituales y hardcore.
