Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- Square Enix has announced that there’s a new Final Fantasy title coming to the Nintendo 3DS, though it won’t be what you expect.

The first Final Fantasy game for the Nintendo 3DS is a rhythm based game which is titled TheAtRhythm Final Fantasy. The main aim of the game is to tap the screen in time to vintage Final Fantasy music.

To be comletely honest with you, I didn't expect such a poor concept for a game for Final Fantasy in 3DS... But, oh well... Anyone else disappointed?


2.- Reggie Fils-Aime has shed some light on Nintendo’s plans for cross-platform play between the 3DS and the Wii U. 

He notes that “the same developer who created Smash Bros. is envisioning a Smash Bros. experience that will be cross platform between Wii U and 3DS,” as it was already known. But he followed up by saying the “experience will likely be very different than what the competitors are doing.”


3.-  Michael Jackson: The Experience is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. I'm not sure how the game will fare, but I think just because of Jackson's popularity, it'll be a good-selling game.

4.- Majesco Entertainment announced The Hidden a while back and now we have the first screens.

1.- Square Enix ha anunciado que hay un nuevo Final Fantasy viniendo a la Nintendo 3DS, pero no es exactamente el tipo de juego que esperaríais. 

El primer Final Fantasy que viene a la 3DS es un juego de ritmos titulado TheAtRhythm Final Fantasy. El objetivo primario del juego es dar a la pantalla concordde con la música de Final Fantasy.

Para ser completamente honesto y objetivo, no esperaba un juego de Final Fantasy con un concepto tan "malo", como primer juego de 3DS... ¿Alguien más decepcionado?

2.- Reggie Fils-Aimeha revelado alguna información sobre los planes de Nintendo de dejar interactuar a la Nitnendo 3DS y a la Wii U. 

Resalta que “el mismo diseñador que creó Smash Bros. ve una experiencia de Smash Bros. que utilizará ambas plataformas, Wii U y 3DS,” como ya era sabido. Pero siguió diciendo “la experiencia será muy diferente a la que nuestros competidores ofrecen.”

3.-  Michael Jackson: The Experience llega a la 3DS. No estoy muy seguro de cómo lo hará en el mercado, pues no parece precisamente una obra de arte. 

4.- Majesco Entertainment anunciaron The Hidden hace bastante, pero ya tenemos las primeras pantallas.
