3.- A survey in Famitsu magazine has revealed that most Japanese retailers expect the 3DS to be the best-selling hardware this holiday season. Here were the results:
PS Vita (31 votes)
PS3 (14 votes)
PSP (5 votes)
Of course, the Vita doesn’t come out until December 17th, so the 3DS doesn’t have a whole lot of competition for that time period, which isn’t a bad thing, it just means these results don’t mean as much as they could. It’ll be next year’s holiday season where the real battle will be played out.
4.- Capcom has revealed that the forthcoming Resident Evil: Revelations for Nintendo 3DSwill feature both two-player local and online co-op, as well as StreetPass support.
Capcom has also revealed the RE: Revelations Official Box Art. Looks wicked:
Reggie Fils-Aime will be appearing on a Nintendo-centric episode of GameTrailers TV on October 27th.
His contribution will be focused on The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, where he’ll be sharing “exclusive new footage and details”, but he’ll also talk about the holiday lineup for the 3DS, which is why this is relevant.
