1.- Junichi Masuda, one of the developers at Gamefreak who make the Pokemon games, has revealed a lot of information regarding the mysterious N from Pokemon Black and White.

These could be considered spoilers if you haven’t had a chance to play either games yet.

• N’s real name is Natural Harmonia Gropius, with “N” coming from the term natural number.
• With his high IQ, N exceeds humans.
• A genius, N excels in math enough to be called a math wizard.
• N is quick-witted and has extreme mood swings.
• N can see the past and future of people.
• According to Masuda, rumors have it that N was born from Pokémon; the parents are unknown.
• N loves Pokémon but keeps his distance from humans.
• N believes he’s perfect.
• Always putting Pokémon first is N’s ideology.
• Given how he is, he has been shunned by humans. In effect, he has a very strong connection with Pokémon.

2.- Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has conducted a survey to find out exactly what retailers believe will be the number one selling console this Christmas. 

The console that retailers thought would do best during the holiday season is the Nintendo 3DS by a decent margin. Clearly games such as Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land won’t hurt the console.

• PlayStation Portable – 5

3.- Today is the day when Japanese gamers can lay down their pre-orders for the PlayStation Vita. If reports from Famitsu are correct then the machine’s destined to be a success as thousands of eager gamers have lined the streets in Japan to be one of the first to pre-order the console. 

Nikkei, one of the largest media corporations in Japan, says over 1,000 people have shown up at an Akihabara retailer alone for the PlayStation Vita pre-launch.

4.- Level 5 has revealed the first trailer for its forthcoming RPG Fantasy Life for the Nintendo 3DS.The game is being co-developed by Brownie Brown and Level-5. 

The game was previously being developed for the Nintendo DS. Fantasy Life is due out next year.

5.- Level 5 has showcased the first footage of Guild 01 a Nintendo 3DS project by an all-star team of developers including No More Heroes creator Suda51 and Yasumi Matsuno, who produced Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story among others. 

Guild 01 is a compilation title composed of four separate games from the four separate creators. It’s due out sometime next year and sounds promising.
