Information Update - Nintendo 3DS

1.- Treyarch boss Mark Lamia has explained that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will feature multiple endings which are determined by the choices you make through the single player campaign. Activision has yet to announce the game for Nintendo platforms, but it’s incredibly likely that we will see the game on Wii U when it launches later in the year.

More After the Break...

Square Enix has produced a teaser site for a new game which they are simply referring to as DvsD. There aren’t any hints relating to the nature of the game, or the platforms it is being developed for. We should find out more about the DvsD in a couple of days. What do you think it could be?

In an exciting Nintendo 3DS exclusive, a massive Yoshi hunt will soon become available ahead of the upcoming Mario Tennis Open launch on 25th May. The hunt, entitled The Yoshi Chase, will involve tracking down a series of different-coloured Yoshis, playable in Mario Tennis Open, through corresponding QR codes released over the coming weeks through various channels. The Black Yoshi will be the first to be released but there are many more in the pipeline so keep your eyes peeled.

Each Yoshi QR code will be released in a variety of different ways and at different times, so you will have to stay alert to find them – the Black Yoshi will be distributed first exclusively through 30 Asda stores on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th May, between the hours of 9.30AM and 5.30PM. White, Blue and Red Yoshi will follow at a later date. These characters can only be activated with the QR code held by in-store sampling teams, so be sure to come down with your Nintendo 3DS so you don’t miss out.

The Circle Pad Pro for the Nintendo 3DS is finally back in stock to purchase at bothGameStop and the Nintendo Shop online. The additional Circle Pad attachment retails for $19.99 and is only available to purchase through either GameStop or Nintendo.

Respawn Entertainment, the development team that comprises of ex Infinity Ward employees, has announced that they won’t be showing off their new IP at next months E3 event in Los Angeles. Respawn Entertainment employees will attend this year’s E3, but they won’t be revealing the title that they’ve been working on until a later date.

Epic Games has shared the first look at the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4. It is not confirmed that this engine will be supported on the Wii U, but there have been hints that it might be on its way. That doesn’t mean games on the Wii U could look as good as the screenshots after the break, but they’d still look very nice.

A new patent has revealed that the Wii Remote can interact with the Wii U’s tablet controller. This interaction, as one example, allows the player to point the Wii Remote at the television, “grab” something from the screen, then “drop” it onto the Wii U controller’s screen. It’s a neat concept that I hope is translated into a real game.

Ubisoft has announced that the demo for Rayman Origins is available on the eShop in North America and Europe. The full game will be available in North America on the 5th of June and in Europe on the 7th of June. You can check after the break for a new trailer.
