David Gibson, Head of Software & Services for Macquarie Capital Securities Japan, has revealed via Twitter that it’s fairly unlikely that Capcom will bring Monster Huntrer Tri G for The Nintendo 3DS to the West due to below expected sales of Monster Hunter Tri on Wii.

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have released a gorgeous pre-E3 teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Tomb Raider 2013 reboot. The teaser footage was originally shown on GameTrailers and the site promises to show a full Tomb Raider reveal trailer on May 31st. Square Enix has yet to announce a Wii U version of the game. Would you like to see it on Wii U?
Always one to hype up E3, Spike TV and GameTrailers Geoff Keighley has hinted onTwitter that we should be seeing the next generation of gaming revealed on Spike’s E3 coverage. Of course, he could be alluding to Wii U, or we could be given a tantalising glimpse at Sony or Microsoft’s next video game consoles.
2.- Mario Tennis Open was released in Europe today. So far, the game has received mixed reviews and holds a score of 70/100 on Metacritic. IGN has criticized the game for “never allowing itself to break out of a more typical tennis mold to be something unique” and gave it a 6.5/10.
GameTrailers praised the game’s multiplayer and online functionality and awarded it with an 8.1/10. Mario Tennis Open is now available to purchase in all regions. Although most reviews were above average, do you think Mario’s new game will be on the list of the best-selling software, as his games were last week?

We heard rumours a while back that EA were preparing a sequel to the immensely popular Need for Speed: Most Wanted and now the title has been confirmed. The news broke via an E3 booth schedule by Twitch TV which shows that both Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2, and the soon to be released Battlefield 3 DLC, will be playable at EA’s E3 booth.
Destructoid has shared their predictions for E3 2012 and, mixed in with their predictions are the predictions of Jesse Divnich, an industry analyst. He believes that:
Retro Studios is working on Metroid Prime 4 for the Wii U.
Pikmin 3 won’t be a day-one launch title.
Rayman Legends will be playable during the show.
The Wii U won’t up-scale Wii games to high-definition.
Nintendo won’t change the name of the Wii U.
Black Ops 2 won’t come to the Wii U.
There will be news about the next Smash Bros. title.
But what do you think? Would you agree? Disagree? I’ll do a “general predictions for E3 2012″ post in the next few days, so for now, focus on Divnich’s expectations. Farfetched? Likely? Share your thoughts below.
