Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- Nintendo Europe’s latest advertisement for the Nintendo 3DS highlights the fact that you can play Nintendo DS games in 2D and that you turn off the 3D whilst playing Nintendo 3DS games.

Whether this is evidence that Nintendo are moving away from highlighting the 3D functionality of the machine remains to be seen.


2.- A retailer package for the game Super Mario 3D Land has revealed that the game will allow you to exchange items and other things with people using StreetPass. 

There will also be ‘Assist Blocks’ that will help you when you’re stuck on a level by providing you with special items.


3.- There are new screenshots of Emerald Coast in Sonic Generations for the 3DS.

4.- The Official Nintendo Magazine has announced that it will have the world’s first Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword review in the next edition of the magazine which goes on sale Thursday October 20th.

5.- Yuji Naka, the creator behind Sonic and Nights, has told Siliconera that the extremely promising Rodea The Sky Soldier for Wii and Nintendo 3DS is 100% complete but he’s waiting on Kadokawa Games to announce when it’s going to be released.

“Rodea the Sky Soldier has been finished for awhile now. My part at Prope has been done. Now it’s up to Kadokawa Games to decide on the release strategy whether it will be come out for North America, Europe, and Japan.”

“It’s finished as Wii title and as of now we have no plans to bring it to Wii U,” Naka answered. “Rodea was made specifically for the Wii so players could enjoy it by flicking the remote. If we tried to incorporate those controls into the large Wii U controller it wouldn’t be the same. I would really like for people to play and enjoy it on the Wii as I had originally intended.”

6.- The immensely popular Moshi Monsters franchise will be coming to the Nintendo DS on Friday, November 11th. Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Zoo will be published by both Activision and Moshi Monsters creators Mind Candy. The monster-collecting franchise started in 2008 as a social online world for children and has since launched a host of merchandise.

1.- El anuncio más reciente de Nintendo Europa para la Nintendo 3DS resalta el hecho de que se pueden jugar a los juegos en 2D y que puedes fácilmente apagar el 3D en los juegos. 

Que ésto signifique el alejamiento de Nintendo de la tecnología 3D queda por ser visto.


2.- Una caja de venta del juego Super Mario 3D Land ha revelado que el juego te permite intercambiar objetos y otras cosas con gente via StreetPass.

También ofrecerán "Bloques de Ayuda" que te ayudarán cuando estés atascado en un nivel dándote objetos especiales.


3.- Pantallas de Emerald Coast en Sonic Generations para la 3DS.
