Information Update - Nintendo 3DS

1.- The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is now available to download on the Nintendo 3DS eShop and Nintendo DSiWare on the Nintendo DSi.
More After the Break...

The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords is absolutely free to download the celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. Enjoy!

As part of the The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary celebrations play the classic Zelda 2D multiplayer adventure, The Legend of Zelda™:Four Swords Anniversary Edition with up to three other players, by connecting your Nintendo DSi, Nintendo DSi XL or Nintendo 3DS wirelessly – work together to rescue Princess Zelda after Link splits into four with the help of the Four Sword. However, unlike the original Game Boy Advance version, it is now possible to play the game in a brand new way as a single player. When you go solo you won’t be totally alone though as an additional Link will appear beside the one you control to help you along during your adventure. It is even possible to independently control “each” Link by selecting either of them using the L or R Buttons.

2.- The official website for Super Mario 3D Land has revealed that some levels in the game will feature mounted binoculars that allow Mario to look around the stage using the gyroscope and the L and R buttons to zoom in and out.

It’s not a huge feature, but it’s the first detail we have of a gyroscopic-related feature in the game.

Nintendo Europe has officially confirmed the release date for Kirby’s Adventure Wii. The game was originally scheduled to come out sometime in December but thankfully it’s had its release date moved forward to November 25th. The game which is referred to asKirby’s Return To Dreamland in North America is scheduled to be released October 24th.

3.- There are new scans of Monster Hunter Tri G that give us a better look at the various armors, weapons and monsters you’ll find in the game.

4.- Jonathan Blow, the creator of Braid, when discussing his new game, The Witness has said that:
...having more memory would make a huge difference to being able to bring a game like this to a console. It makes it much easier.

He also mentions he was told the Wii U "has a lot more RAM" than other consoles, although he didn't share any specifics beyond that. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like the game will be coming to the platform since he says he is "unsure about [the Wii U] for other reasons, especially in light of the iPad."

That comment about the iPad might twist a few people's knickers, but it is a shame The Witness probably won't be coming to the Wii U. At least the technical specs are (sort of) being pieced together though.

5.- A leaked video revealed that THQ was working on The Avengers: The Video Game, a movie tie-in based around The Avengers.

The game was cancelled though. But what's interesting is that it appears the game was in development for the Wii U as well, making it our first casualty for the console it seems.

6.- The first footage of FIFA 12 on the Nintendo 3DS has been shared online. The video, which contains about ten minutes worth of gameplay. The game looks awful:
