1.- Nintendo in Japan has released new screenshots of Super Mario 3D Land.

Nintendo of Europe has added seven trailers from the Nintendo 3DS Conference 2011 to the eShop.
The list of trailers includes titles like Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Tennis and Kid Icarus: Uprising. These trailers also allow you to receive SpotPass notifications about the games. They’ll be available “soon” in North America.
A study from Playr2.com shows that the majority of gamers are not interested in 3D gaming. 44% of gamers out of the 1,001 surveyed believed that 3D gaming is completely unnecessary, while 28% of them were ‘unimpressed’ while playing the 3DS. A solid 22% stated that 3D simply hindered the gaming experience.

2.- Nintendo of America has posted an official translation of Shigeru Miyamoto’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword presentation from this years Tokyo Games Show.
Miyamoto claims in the video that he ”can’t imagine controlling a sword with buttons” anymore.
3.- Nielsen, the company that provides clients the most complete understanding of what consumers watch and buy, has published their top twenty games to watch for holiday 2011.
Amazingly they’ve omitted to include Super Mario 3D Land or Mario Kart 7 which you would expect to be huge sellers this holiday season.

4.- There are new direct-feed screenshots of Monster Hunter Tri G that show off the different weapon types in action.
5.- There’s a bunch of new screenshots from Shinobi on the Nintendo 3DS that you can find after the break along with a new Japanese trailer. Both pieces of media give us the most varied look at the game so far.
There’s a new screenshot from the latest issue of Nintendo Dream magazine that teases a new location for Resident Evil: Revelations.
6.- The LinkedIn page of an associate producer for Vicarious Visions has revealed that they have three mystery projects in the works:
That last one is listed as being in development for the Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii U. Vicarious Visions is known for working on several of the Guitar Hero series of games for the Nintendo DS, along with Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It might be a while before we know anything further about whatever they are working on. But at least something is in the works.

7.- US gaming publication Nintendo Power has compiled a list of all the US Wii titles that have broken the one million sales barrier for Wii.
There’s a few unexpected titles on the list along with all the ones you would expect. One interesting piece of information is Links Crossbow Training outsold The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess!
