2.- Nintendo America has finally put up some impressive 3D trailers for six of the hottest Nintendo 3DS games. The trailers for Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Animal Crossing 3D, Paper Mario 3D and Mario Tennis 3D are now up on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
3.- The folks at Official Nintendo Magazine have captured footage of a shortcut in Mario Kart 7 at a recent event in the UK and you can click here to see the results.
In this video you can see, at around 0:41, how the hang-glider sections have got a limit to them. See how the glider automatically removes itself, though the player is still not on the floor?
5.- Yuji Naka, the creator behind Sonic has told Siliconera that he’s desperate for Nintendo to send him a Wii U development kit. Apparently Wii U development kits are a rarity at the moment but let’s hope Nintendo eventually decides to give him one.
I don’t have a development kit right now. [Laughs.] Please ask Nintendo to send me one! Or maybe Bandai Namco Games can send me one. I would really like a chance to play with that hardware. Right now there probably aren’t many development kits.
6.- Smashboards has announced that it’s officially banning Metaknight on Super Smash Bros Brawl in the USA under the Unity Ruleset 2.0. The reasoning behind the move is firstly because of his impeccable recovery options and speed, and secondly he is considered to have between an even to significantly advantageous match-up against every character in the cast. R.I.P Metaknight.
