1.- According to The Games Asylum, Several large retailers in the United Kingdom have begun repackaging Nintendo 3DS games to make it more clear to consumers that the titles are for the Nintendo 3DS only.
Whether it’s the retailers repackaging the games or Nintendo themselves remains to be seen.
Apple.- claimed that the iPod Touch is the worlds most popular gaming device during its press event which took place yesterday. It’s clear that it’s an extremely popular device amongst consumers, but the worlds most popular gaming device?

2.- There are new screenshots and artwork from Monster Hunter Tri G that give us a varied look at the monsters in the game.
3.- Mega Man co-designer, Keiji Inafune has revealed his latest game in Famitsu. The game is titled King of Pirates and is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. Infafune also revealed that the action orientated RPG is set to be a trilogy and will be released next year. Who’s excited?
The game has a pirate theme, but also follows the story of Sangokushi. The cast of characters numbers over 300 and includes such animal types as penguins, cows, monkeys and dragons. The characters appear to be designed in the image of major Sangokushi figures.
Keiji Inafune, the co-designer behind Mega Man, gave the world the first glimpse of his new action RPG which is titled King of Pirates.
4.- Nintendo of America’s Assistant PR Manager David Young has told Game Trailers that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii is the biggest project that Nintendo has ever done. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be available November 18th in Europe and November 20th in North America.
5.- Marvelous, the developer behind the Harvest Moon franchise, has announced that it has a brand new Harvest Moon game in the works for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is titled Harvest Moon: The Land’s Origin. The game will be out sometime early next year.
Some of the first details of Harvest Moon: The Land’s Origins have been revealed courtesy of Famitsu. According to the article, you’ll be able to custom build your own house, farm and character.
“This is the biggest project that Nintendo has ever done, videogame wise.”
“The great thing about Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword is that it’s filled with content so as you’re going through exploring dungeons from place to place you’re going to find tons of different things to explore, see and collect.”
“The way that it’s using the motion with your sword and shield, you’ll be immersed more than ever before in a Zelda game.”
5.- Marvelous, the developer behind the Harvest Moon franchise, has announced that it has a brand new Harvest Moon game in the works for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is titled Harvest Moon: The Land’s Origin. The game will be out sometime early next year.
The game will also feature the classic love elements of Harvest Moon games of the past. Harvest Moon: The Land’s Origins is scheduled to release sometime in early 2012 in Japan.
6.- There are new screenshots that give us a good look at the Mushroom Hill and Casino Night stages in Sonic Generations.
7.- Katushiro Harada, a producer for Tekken has provided a progress update for the franchise on the Wii U:
For Wii U, at the moment, the core members aren't really assigned to that yet. We have a different group outside the Tekken Project within our company that works on advanced technology. So that section is currently evaluating the hardware and the specs, and what would be necessary to create a Tekken on [Wii U]. Once their evaluation and research is done, they'll kick it to us and we'll start laying out the specs for that. But we're not at that point yet.
It may not be a ton of movement, but at least something is happening.
A job listing for Treyarch states that the company is looking for a new senior software engineer for a team that is "bringing our hugely successful game to a new console". It's not blankly stated, but that game has to be Call of Duty, and it wouldn't be too much of a shock for that "new console" to be the Wii U. Of course, it could also be the Xbox 720, but that feels like it'll be a bit further off.
