1.- We already know that the Pokemon Company has revealed that they have a few ‘amazing’ Pokemon games scheduled for 2012 but now it seems as though Pokemon Gray could actually be one of those games.
More After the Break...

An advert for the new Pokemon movie in the latest issue of Corocoro Magazine has multiple captions which read “What mystery is hidden in Kyurem?” and “Kyurem’s unseen power will be revealed!”. Kyurem is the third member of the Tao trio, which exists in the legends of the Unova region and is gray.

It’s been revealed that the Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling console in Japan during 2011. The system managed to beat Sony’s popular PlayStation Portable by quite some ease to claim the top spot. Mario Kart 7 sold slightly more than Super Mario 3D Land even though Mario Kart 7 was the last out of the two to be released. 2.- Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has told Develop Online that he’s always looking for ways to impress legendary games designer Shigeru Miyamoto and that’s one of the reasons why he’s so motivated to make the Zelda franchise as good as possible.

And how do you keep yourself and those staff creatively motivated and enthusiastic when the Zelda series has been around for so long?
My staff really are driven and kept motivated by the idea of seeing the players enjoy their creations. That is what I try and make them strive for and that is why they invest part of their life over many years into these games.
In my case, for me it is about impressing Mr Miyamoto; that’s the big one and that’s what keeps me motivated.

Capcom’s Christian Svensson has assured users on the official Capcom forums that we will be getting the Resident Evil: Revelations demo that made an appearance on the Japanese eShop a few weeks ago. Svensson wouldn’t offer a date, but seeing as the game is out fairly soon we shouldn’t have too long to wait.

“A RE: Revelations demo for NA and Europe is coming. In the case of NA, we’re awaiting our date confirmation and code approval from [Nintendo of America] NOA (we have a tentative from them, but I’ll have to keep you in suspense).”
“When we have something more concrete to share, you won’t be able to miss it on the Capcom-Unity blog.”

Nintendo of Europe has revealed that the Resident Evil: Revelations bundle with the Circle Pad Pro will be an exclusive at Zavvi. The bundle will retail for £29.95 and will cost significantly less than if one was to buy the game by itself, so this is definitely a great deal. You can click here to buy the bundle for yourself.

It was reported that in Beyond the Labyrinth, your companion (pictured above) could not attack in battle, but itturns out she can use a “Magic Strike” attack. This attack varies in strength depending on the girl’s health percentage, so if you want her attack to be powerful you’ll have to protect her from harm. You accomplish this by commanding one of your other characters to absorb any attacks that may come her way using the touch screen.
TT Games has announced that LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is coming to the 3DS. The game will feature iconic characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Batman, The Joker, and Lex Luthor, and will be launching this summer.

SEGA has released a new trailer for Rhythm Thief & The Emperor’s Treasure. The trailer shows off various rhythm games and parts of the story and can be found after the break.

The CEO of Level-5 said that Level-5 is aiming to release Fantasy Life, Time Travelers and Guild 01 for the 3DS in 2012. They are apparently on the final stretch for releasing Time Travelers and, while these comments only apply to Japan, it does give us hope that the rest of the world won’t have to wait long to play them.

4.- It seems as though the PlayStation Vita can’t catch a break in Japan at the moment as the console was beaten by the PlayStation Portable for the second week running. The PlayStation Vita managed to sell 42,648 units in its third week on sale according to Japanese chart company Media Create whilst the Nintendo 3DS sold 197,952 – beating the PlayStation Vita by a ratio of five to one.
