1.- This weeks Media Create software sales are in from Japan and they show once again that Nintendo is clearly a dominant force to be reckoned with.
More After the Break...

MocoSpace, the largest mobile gaming community in North America has conducted a survey to find out exactly where gamers are spending their time. The survey which was conducted with 15,000 users found that the majority of gamers are now spending their gaming time on mobile devices rather than traditional consoles.
A whopping 46 percent of those surveyed by Moco Space reported that they are playing more on their mobile devices this year, compared to 26 percent of the participants who said that they are playing more on their consoles, and just 23 percent said they are playing more on their computers.

2.- Californian developer WayForward, the development studio behind A Boy and His Blob and Contra 4 has revealed that it’s continuously receiving requests from fans to develop the next Mega Man game. Sadly Christian Svensson, Capcom’s VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development has stated that it’s highly unlikely that WayForward would get the chance to create the next Mega Man game.
I’m also a WF fan and I’m familiar with their work. I’ll never say never but there’d be a million approvals before a MM title could ever be produced in the West.

During a one year anniversary fan appreciation event for Solatorobo CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama hinted to the audience that the development team behind the fantastic Solatorobo on Nintendo DS are working on a sequel. Matsuyama wouldn’t be drawn into revealing what platform the game would be for, or when it’s planned to be released.
“In the not so distant future, I would like to greet everyone in the Little Tail Bronx world. Although, I don’t know what media it will be. As long as it has everyone’s support, the Little Tails Bronx world will live forever.” Two Tribes, the development team behind the well received Toki Tori and Swords & Soldiers has announced via Twitter that it’s considering bringing Toki Tori 2 to Wii U. The team wouldn’t reveal whether or not they had a Wii U development kit.

3.- MCV reported that the Xbox 720 and PS4 will be shown at E3. But Industry Gamers is saying that one of the consoles (or perhaps both of them) will launch during Christmas 2012.
One of the biggest advantages Nintendo has with the Wii U is that it was expected to launch at least a year before the other consoles. They may have a much tougher battle to face if it turns out that Microsoft, Sony, or both of them close that gap by a matter of months (or even weeks).

Farsight, the developers of The Pinball Arcade have confirmed they:
...have dev equipment for the Wii U and fully anticipate being ready for the launch of its eStore.

It's only a small confirmation, but more content is always good.

Renegade Kid has re-launched the website for Mutant Mudds, a 2D retro-styled platformer coming to the 3DS via the eShop in the not too distant future.
