1.- A rumour is circulating the web which suggests that developers are moving their PlayStation Vita projects across to Wii U due to the relatively poor sales of the console around the world. If this rumour is true then it’s likely that some of the proposed PlayStation Vita titles will make their way across to the Wii U eShop as digital releases.

Compared to any other Mario game, New Super Mario Bros. 2 contains the most coins and golden objects. Throughout the game, it’s possible to collect over a million coins – most of which are golden. When Mario touches a Gold Flower, he transforms into Gold Mario, which grants him the ability of turning blocks into golden coins. For the first time in the series, most enemies can turn into gold. Because of all the golden objects and characters in New Super Mario Bros. 2, the game was going to be called New Super Mario Bros. Gold. Which title do you prefer?


New Super Mario Bros. producer Takashi Tezuka claims that Nintendo “raised the bar” with New Super Mario Bros. 2, which includes new features and modes that aren’t in any of the previous Mario titles. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told him that Wii U’s New Super Mario Bros. has to provide a better experience. Tezuka then acknowledged that it’s his job to make New Super Mario Bros. U, which will also be released this year, an “even better” game than Nintendo 3DS’s New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Rapper Hunnid-P, who is the man behind the notorious Knuckle’s theme in Sonic Adventure 2, has revealed via Youtube that he’s working on a new Knuckles theme for an upcoming Sonic project. We revealed this morning that Sega, or a third-party, has been registering numerous domains for Sonic Adventure 3, so maybe this information ties in with that.

Satoru Iwata supposes that, after taking a quick glance at it, people will think New Super Mario Bros. 2 is “the usual Super Mario.” But according to the game’s art designer Masaaki Ishikawa, Nintendo added new features to Mario’s upcoming Nintendo 3DS title to make a fresh impression.

For example, special stages called Dash Mario are included, in which Mario gets blasted out of a cannon and can’t stop running forward until the end of the level. And, in all Dash Mario stages, players need to time Mario’s jumps to make sure he reaches the flagpole.
