1.- Here it is! The long awaited music video for “The Edge of Glory.” The music video was directed by The Haus of Gaga. What do you think of it? I firstly thought it was very simple, too simple, and didn't think it was beautiful or Gaga at all, but then I saw it again and I really liked it! It also hides symbolism!

2.- Apparently, as it's now being discussed on the Internet, and may be true, the meaning of the Edge of Glory Video:
The Dance Steps were the same as in Just Dance, and the music video for Just Dance was launched the same day as the Edge of Glory video: 16/6/2009 for JD, and 16/6/2011 for EoG.
The video could be about Gaga's begginings and her rise to Glory. The video is about how she had to go through tons of steps, and how many doors were closed to her, but she never gave up dancing and singing.
So after that effort she now lives in the Glory, and kisses her first steps, and valuates them.

Noticias Nuevas - Lady Gaga
1.- El video del tercer sencillo de “Born This Way” por fin está aquí. “The Edge of Glory” es una de las canciones favoritas de muchísimos fanáticos, y para Lady Gaga es una canción sumamente especial y emotiva, ya que la terminó de componer cuando falleció su abuelo paterno.
El video fue dirigido por Haus of Gaga, y la coreografía hecha por Laurieann Gibson. Se grabó la última semana de mayo.
Al principio pensé que era demasiado simple, incluso aburrido, no me gustó. Pero luego lo vi de nuevo, y de nuevo, y la verdad es que es muy bueno, simple, y muy emotivo. También tiene su significado.
2.- Este podría ser, y yo estoy de acuerdo, el significado del vídeo de The Edge of Glory:
Los pasos de baile fueron los mismos que en Just Dance, y el vídeo musical de Just Dance salió el mismo día que el de The Edge of Glory ahora: 16/6/2009 para JD, y 16/6/2011 para EoG.
El vídeo podría ser una metáfora y expresión de los inicios de Gaga y su subida a la Gloria. El vídeo puede ir sobre los pasos y escalones que ha tenido que ir subiendo Gaga y las puertas que se le han cerrado, pero ella no dejó de bailar ni cantar.
Así que ella ahora vive en la Gloria y besa sus inicios, en apartamentos de Nueva York, etc.
