1.- We already know that the buzz surrounding Nintendo forthcoming console is reaching fever pitch, but how many people are thinking about purchasing the console?
According to consumer research group Nielsen “buzz” for Project Cafe pre-E3 is significantly higher than buzz for Project Natal/Kinect at a similar point before last year’s show. Nielsen has also revealed that interest in the console is also higher than that of the Nintendo 3DS before it launched in March. More after the break.
The dissapointing news is that only 27% of surveyed individuals said they’d be interested in buying Project Cafe within six months of release, compared to 25% and 24% for Microsoft and Sony’s currently unannounced next-gen efforts. Clearly these alleged figures will change dramatically once the console is shown for the first time at E3 next week.
2.- Eiji Aonuma, Japanese designer and director of video games for Nintendo has hinted that Nintendo are preparing to show off a new Zelda game at E3 next week. During a live event on Famitsu’s Nico Nico Eiji Aonuma mentioned a new Zelda project that is related to the 25th anniversary of the series.
What platform the game will appear on is anyone’s guess, but with the company showcasing its successor to the Nintendo Wii it wouldn’t be too far fetched to see the game appear on that.
3.- The fine folk over at Zelda Informer have uncovered an intriguing batch of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword rumours. The rumours themselves stem from the collective masses over at 4chan so there’s no telling at all whether they are legitimate or not. Some of the rumours clearly sound a little too far fetched but the majority of them could well be on the money. Thankfully With E3 just around the corner we won’t have long to wait until Nintendo divulge just about all the information we can handle. So what’s the verdict?
1. Skyward Sword is complete, but still needs debugging/testing.
2. There will be a demo at E3 with three different aspects of the game explored: Flying combat, overworld + sky exploration, desert dungeon.
3. Skyward Sword girl’s name is “Dorella.”
4. Magician from GDC trailer’s name is “Nephiburoo,” he’ll be a part of a group of evil sorcerers who wish to obtain the Triforce.
5. Ganondorf is in the game briefly as a child. Isn’t too important to the story.
6. Zelda has a new design, similar to an Egyptian princess with brown hair. She’s still recognizable however.
7. Full orchestrated soundtrack by the person responsible for Super Mario Galaxy’s soundtrack. (This one is actually true, but I do wonder if the poster only put this one in to make the rumors more believable.)
8. Two overworlds: Skyloft and Hyrule. Contrast is similar to Heaven and Hell.
9. Ten minute live-action prologue that’ll be posted on the net a couple of months before release. (Zelda Williams Secret Shoot? Zelda is rumored to have brown hair and take on an Egyptian princess aesthetic. It COULD fit.)
10. After you complete the game, the game goes into a storyless, neverending epilogue. Every dungeon in the game gets another dungeon inside of it utilizing everything you’ve obtained in the game with new bosses. New areas on the overworld are unlocked in places you wouldn’t expect. Similar to the original Zelda.
11. Game will feature horse riding and boat riding. Not as expansive as seen in Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, however, but a boat will be required to complete some dungeons.

4.- CVG has reported the following:
They also believe “the majority of Nintendo’s conference on Tuesday, June 7 will surely be dedicate to Project Cafe,” but that sounds a little more like speculation than anything concrete. Still, let’s hope their prediction is right.…we’ve also heard another little whisper from our Ninty sources – that Super Mario 3DS won’t be the only new Mario title to be shown off in Los Angeles. Could we be looking at a Super Mario Galaxy for the next, next generation?
5.- Respected Japanese news publication The Nikkei has leaked details on Nintendo’s successor to the Wii which is currently dubbed Project Cafe.
The news publication basically confirms what we’ve been hearing these past few months, that the console will feature a six inch screen that can also be used as a portable games machine, along with an inbuilt camera which can be used for a variety of things such as mapping your face to create an avatar.

1.- Sabemos que todos los rumores y expectaciones alrededor de la nueva consola de Nintendo está llegando a extremos increíbles, ¿Pero cuánta gente comprará la consola?
Según un grupo de investigación de consumidores, en este año de E3, Nintendo ha generado más expectativa con la Wii2, Proyecto Café, que Microsoft, con su Kinect, Proyecto Nova, el año pasado. Nielsen también ha revelado que se espera mucho más de esta consola en su lanzamiento que con la 3DS el pasado marzo.
La cosa mala es que sólo un 27% compraría la consola en los primeros 6 meses de su lanzamiento, estando un 25% con los nuevos intentos de Sony y un 24% con Microsoft. Claro que esto cambiará en E3 la semana que viene.
2.- Eiji Aonuma, diseñador Japonés de videojuegos ha revelado que Nintendo tiene planes de anunciar un nuevo juego de Zelda en E3 este año. Durante un evento live Nico Nico de Famitsu, Eiji Aonuma mencionó un nuevo juego de Zelda, relacionado con el 25 Aniversario de la serie.
¿Para qué plataforma será? Creo que la respuesta es sencilla, para el sucesor de la Wii, casi sin duda, y podéis estar seguros de que usará todo lo nuevo de la nueva consola.
3.- Aquí tenéis los últimos rumores sobre The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, para Nintendo Wii, el último respiro de la Wii es este juego:
1. Skyward Sword está completo, pero necesita todavía debugging y ser probado.

10. Una vez te pasas el juego, entras en un epílogo sin historia, interminable. Todas las mazmorras en el juego obtienen otra parte, y otro jefe. Nuevas areas se abren en sitios del mapa principal inesperados, como en el Zelda original.
11. El juego tendrá barcos y caballos.
12. Sale el 1 de Noviembre de 2,011.
4.- La respetada publicación japonesa: The Nikkei, ha desvelado información con respecto al Proyecto Caféde Nintendo.
La publicación básicamente revela y confirma lo que íbamos anticipando estos últimos días: la consola viene con un mando con pantalla táctil de 6 pulgadas, capaz de jugar portátilmente, además de tener una cámara para crear avatares a partir de tu cara.
La consola será lanzada en verano de 2,012. Dentro de una semana sabremos especificaciones, datos, juegos, comopatibilidad, precio y nombre.
