Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- Pokédex 3D is coming the Nintendo 3DS eShop in all regions, and it’s free. So that’s cool. But what’s also cool is there is an augmented reality feature that allows you to place the Pokémon you collect in the palm of your hand. You can see how this looks amidst a new batch of screenshots. 

There are six before the break, but you can have a look at the rest, and the rest of the news after it.

2.- Nintendo’s David Wharton, director of eShop operations, recently took the opportunity to give Wired a tour around the Nintendo 3DS eShop. During the tour it was revealed that the lowest price Nintendo 3DS eShop software sells for $1.99, just like the DSiWare 200 Point limit, with Virtual Console games available at a different range of prices: 

Super Mario Land is set to retail for $3.99, but Alleyway and Radar Mission will sell for a slightly cheaper $2.99. It was also revealed that the Gameboy games that consumers will be able to purchase from the eShop will be simply dumps of ROMS and won’t include any additional functionality or features.

3.- We have some new screenshots and artwork for Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights that gives us a look at some of the puzzles and exploration in the game. 

The game arrives in North America this summer.


4.- Capcom recently revealed there would be alternate costumes for all of the characters in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. 

They’ve given us a look at all of the eight characters in their alternate clothes.


5.- A while ago Natsume revealed Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns was coming to the Nintendo 3DS and we finally have some screenshots. 

The game, which is a localisation of the Twin Villages game in Japan, is looking pretty good so far.


6.- Nintendo currently has six 3D classics in development for the Nintendo 3DS. We already know aboutExcitebike 3D and Xevious 3D but there are still four other titles currently getting a 3D revamp for the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Apparently work started on the 3D classics in 2009 and whilst the games may appear to be straight ports there is quite a lot of work going into them. Any thoughts on what these four games might be?


7.- The Tetris Company will be at E3 next week to show off the plainly-titled Tetris for the Nintendo 3DS, which is being released in October.

1.- Pokédex 3D viene a todas las regioned, para la 3DS, y es gratis. Genial, además puedes usar estos pokémon con la aplicación de AR (Realidad Aumentada) para sacarles en tu mesa, o donde sea. Aquí tenemos las primeras pantallas:

Aquí tenéis seis de ellas, el resto está arriba, con el artículo en Inglés. Es por ocupar el menor sitio posible.

2.- David Wharton de Nintendo, ha dicho que el precio mínimo por un juego de eShop de 3DS será $1,99, por lo tanto, supongo que aquí 1,99€: 

Super Mario Land está fijado en $3.99, pero Alleyway y Radar Mission se venderán por un más barato precio de $2.99. Se ha revelado también que, de momento, los juegos de GameBoy son portaciones directas de ROMs y que no tendrán funcionalidad especial. De momento..

Aparentemente el trabajo para rehacer estos clásicos empezó en 2,009. ¿Cuáles pensáis que serán los otros cuatro?
