Information Update - Nintendo 3DS

1.- A rumour has surfaced that Nintendo is currently hard at work creating not one but two Zelda games for the Nintendo 3DS, much like Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages.
More After the Break...

According to the source the first game is titled The Legend of Zelda: Fire Prophecy and the second game is titled The Legend of Zelda: Ice Prophecy. Nintendo has already confirmedthat they’re working on a new Zelda title for the Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo of America representative Buddy Roemer has told Youtube user Super Shadow Hero E3 that Nintendo has no plans to patch the popular glitch on Mario Kart 7′s Maka Wuhu. Roemer said that Nintendo were aware of the glitch but there are no plans to actually update the game to remove the glitch.
Thanks for your patience in waiting for a response during this busy time of year. We are aware that it is possible to navigate a certain part of the track in Wuhu Island in a way that allows a large part of the course to be bypassed. There are no plans to update the game to remove this shortcut as doing so would create an unfair advantage for the users of the original release of the game. Rest assured your comments have been added to our records for Mario Kart 7.

Sincerely,

Buddy Roemer
Nintendo of America Inc.

2.- MCV is reporting that popular UK retailer GAME has had customer details stolen from its database by malicious hackers. There’s no word as to whether customer credit card details have been compromised. Customer information, including email addresses and passwords (stored as plain text) were obtained from the company’s website and posted on the internet.
Update: Game claims it hasn’t been hacked and have told MCV that they will issue a statement shortly.
Youtube channel GameLiveTV has captured some fantastic high quality footage of both Battle Mii and Chase Mii on the Wii U. Both demos were demonstrated by Erik Peterson Localization Producer for Nintendo of America at this years CES event in Las Vegas.

There are new screenshots from Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games that show off various events in the game that you can check out.

3.- Sony has announced that the PlayStation Vita has had its firmware updated to version 1.52. As with the previous PlayStation Vita firmware update this one just fixes a few behind the scene bugs but doesn’t add any additional functionality to the system.
However, a few users have reported that the update fixes a version 1.51 bug where the 3G system would not recognize your SIM card.
