1.- Nintendo has registered lots of domain names following the announcement of the Wii U, which may give us clues as to what they’re planning. Unfortunately, none of the domain names are particularly surprising. There’s mention of Wii U Fit, Wii U Party and Wii U Sports, but it doesn’t mean those are in the works.

3.- Nintendo president Satoru Iwata believes that the Wii U controller could be the television remote of the future, due to its many uses which stretch beyond traditional gaming.
Clearly it will inevitably depend on adoption, but if the Wii U becomes as big as Nintendo hope it will be this could be the perfect companion next to your television remote.

4.- According to games consultancy group Hit Detection third party developers were told not to show off their Wii U games due to them not looking significantly different from their PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 counterparts.
Nintendo decided at the eleventh hour that they would not showcase these games, and would instead direct peoples attentions to their own first party demo’s.
5.- We have no clear picture about the Wii U’s online system. But Nintendo has revealed a few of their intentions in an investor meeting. It could still be a while before we get any gloriously concrete details though.
Satoru Iwata notes that, when it comes to online structure “the things that the different publishers want to do are in fact seemingly rather different.”
In light of this, Nintendo’s current direction is focused on how they can “take the desires of the third parties and create a system that’s flexible enough to enable them to do the types of things that they might want to do.”
“So, for example,” explains Iwata, “with the question of VoIP, I think then what we would like to do is work with them on how to enable them to do that. But, what we’re not going to do is to consider as prerequisite conditions that every game includes features like that because obviously there are some developers who may not want to do that.”
And fancy some social network integration? Iwata singles out Facebook and explains:
I think we’ve come to an era where it’s important to consider how the social graph of the social networking services can work in conjunction with something like a video game platform.
…so that’s pretty vague. But expect social networking to play a role in the Wii U.
And that’s all we know for the time being. The system is flexible, it’ll probably have support for voice chat (which isn’t all that surprising) and there’s support for social networks. Hopefully Nintendo can blow our socks off when they reveal the details.

3.- El Presidente de Nintendo Satoru Iwata cree que el controlador de la Wii U puede ser el modelo para el mando a distancia del futuro, debido a sus capacidades fuera del límite de gaming normal.
Claramente dependerá de la adaptación. Pero si funciona tal y como Nintendo pretende que funcione, puede ser el perfecto compañero al lado de tu mando a distancia.
4.- Según Hit Detection diseñadores de terceras empresas fueron exhimidos de presentar sus juegos para la Nintendo Wii U, porque no eran tan distintos de las versiones de PS3 y Xbox 360.
Nintendo decidió en el último momento que en vez de enseñar los videojuegos que tenía pensado, enseñarían los Tech Demos.
5.- No tenemos ni idea sobre el Sistema Online de la Wii U. Pero Nintendo ha revelado unas cuantas de sus intenciones en un meeting de inversores. Puede pasar algún tiempo hasta que conozcamos algunas características más específicas.
Satoru Iwata dice que, cuando se trata de la estructura online: "Lo que los diferentes publicadores quieren hacer, suele ser bastante diferente siempre."
En vista de ésto la visión de Nintendo pretende: “coger los deseos de las terceras empresas y crear un sistema que les permita hacer las cosas que pretenden hacer."
Sobre las Redes Sociales Iwata explica:
Creo que hemos llegado a una era donde es importante considerar como el gráfico social de las redes sociales funciona en una plataforma de videojuegos.
…es muy ambiguo. Pero esperad algún tipo de cosa de redes sociales en la Wii U.
