Information Update - Nintendo 3DS

1.- Nintendo customer service is sending out responses to worried gamers to confirm to them that the ten free Gameboy Advance ambassador games are still coming this year. Nintendo has still yet to confirm an exact date for the games, but rest assured they’re coming.
More After the Break...

“Thanks for writing and for your patience in waiting for a response during this busy time of year. I can certainly appreciate your interest in the exclusive Game Boy Advance titles that will be offered through the Ambassador Program! In answer to your question, regardless of rumors you have heard, the Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games are still scheduled to become available sometime before the end of 2011. I know you were hoping for a more definitive timeframe, but please rest assured that more details will be made available closer to when the titles are ready for release.
To be sure you are notified about the games as they are available, please be sure to download the Ambassador Certificate from the same place you downloaded your NES games. You will also need to make sure that notifications for this application are enabled. When we release the titles, any updates regarding this program will be sent via notifications for the Ambassador Certificate”
One of the readers of My Nintendo News has informed me that a Nintendo of America customer service representative has told him that the Gameboy Advance ambassador games won’t be coming out until sometime between January and April. Nintendo UK toldEurogamer last Thursday that they were still due out this year.

2.- Ubisoft’s superb 2D platformer Rayman Origins which was released on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 only managed to sell 50,000 copies during its first four weeks on sale.

Obviously the game was pitted against some extremely strong titles including Super Mario 3D Land and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Sonic Generations also failed to reach the top twenty according to last months NPD figures.

Amazon has informed customers that pre-ordered Monado that their pre-orders have been cancelled. Xenoblade Chronicles will only be sold in North America via Nintendo’s online shop or GameStop. Xenoblade Chronicles is scheduled to be released in April in North America and is available to purchase now in Europe.

Monster Hunter Tri G for the Nintendo 3DS appears to be in huge demand in Japan with multiple retail outlets stating that they’ve completely sold out of the game. Retailers are also reporting that they’ve sold out of the Circle Pad Pro. Yodobashi Camera in Akihabaraannounced that it’s getting its next shipment of Monster Hunter Tri G on Thursday December 15th.

IGN has shared even more footage from Resident Evil: Revelations. One of the videos is embedded after the break, but you can click here to visit the page with all the videos.
