1.- The Wii U has been criticized for requiring players to to switch their view back and forth between two screens while gaming. Nintendo marketing executive Scott Moffitt responded by saying, “It doesn’t take long at all for the controller to feel intuitive.” Moffitt mentions how people are used to gaming on Wii but were first skeptical about its motion controls because it requires people to move while playing games. Moffitt believes Wii U’s “adjustment period will be quick,” and gamers will realize that the Wii U GamePad“enhances gameplay.”

Fans of the TimeSplitters franchise have launched a Facebook Page that aims to get 100,000 Likes in an effort to convince Crytek to create TimeSplitters 4. Crytek’s CEO and employees of the company are closely monitoring the Facebook Page, which at the time of writing currently has over 7,000 Likes.

Nintendo marketing executive Scott Moffitt was asked whether Nintendo first-party titles would run at 720p or 1080p. Moffitt answered by saying, “I think it’s 1080p.” While it has been confirmed that the first batch of Wii U games will run at 720p, most Nintendo games will probably run at 1080p soon after the upcoming console’s launch.
Destructoid gave the game an ‘impressive’ 8/10 (its lowest score yet) and said that “as far as Pokemon spinoff games go, Pokemon Conquest is definitely one of the best offerings on the market.” Pokemon Conquest is a Nintendo DS game that can be played on any Nintendo 3DS console.
Known as the stars of Nickelodeon’s hit television series Big Time Rush, the band is teaming up with Nintendo to offer free hands-on demos of Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS system on its upcoming U.S. tour, “Big Time Summer Tour”. From July 5 to Aug. 5, attendees at select Big Time Rush concerts can visit Nintendo 3DS demo stations and experience the game’s wild Mario-themed action, multiplayer features and kart customization options firsthand.
A Mario Kart 7 sampling station and mobile sampling teams will be available at participating concert venues, giving fans a unique chance to play the game, enjoy special photo opportunities and compete for prizes. Fans will also be able to download Mii characters based on the members of Big Time Rush – Kendall, Logan, James and Carlos – and fans who bring their own Nintendo 3DS systems to the concerts will be able to wirelessly access content for Nintendo 3DS via Nintendo Zone hotspots. Additionally, viewers can look forward to seeing Big Time Rush in an upcoming television ad campaign for Mario Kart 7.
