1.- Nintendo of Japan has announced a release date for the forthcoming Fire Emblem: Kakuse. The game is a brand new entry into the Fire Emblem series but retains elements from previous games. Fire Emblem: Kakuse is due to be released April 19th in Japan.

Nintendo showed off some brand new footage of Fire Emblem: Kakuse during the Nintendo Direct conference which took place yesterday. Fire Emblem: Kakuseis scheduled to be released on April 19th in Japan. Hopefully Nintendo will see fit to provide us with a Western release date in the not so distant future.
Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed that Kid Icarus: Uprising will feature online multiplayer. Online multiplayer is something fans have been clamouring for since the title was originally announced and it looks as though we’ve finally got it. Kid Icarus Uprisingcomes out March 2012 in the West.
2.- Nintendo has announced that its providing Nintendo 3DS owners in Japan with a large number of high quality demos today.

Japanese Nintendo 3DS owners can download Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, Resident Evil: Revelations, Rhythm Thief, and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. Hopefully we will get these demos fairly soon here in the West.




3.- Capcom has revealed a stunning new trailer for the forthcoming Resident Evil: Revelationson the Nintendo 3DS. Resident Evil Revelations is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS and is due out January 27th in Europe and February 7th in North America. The game is available to purchase as a bundle with the Circle Pad Pro or it can be purchased separately.
4.- The PlayStation Vita has received a brand new firmware update which apparently promises to fix issues with “game progress”, mentioning launch title Dynasty Warriors in particular. If your already lucky enough to own a PlayStation Vita then you can get Version 1.51 through your PC, PlayStation 3 or the PlayStation Vita itself.
