1.- Popular technology blog CNET has spectacularly revealed that the Wii U will be at this years CES event which starts January 10th.
More After the Break...
There’s no information regarding which games will be shown off at the event, or whether we will be shown the same demos which we saw revealed at E3. Anyway, it’s certainly exciting news!
Nintendo is bringing the Wii U to CES and I’ll be getting more hands-on with the tablet-console hybrid to build on my impressions from E3 2011. Nintendo has historically skipped over CES, but it’s great to hear the company will have a presence there in 2012.
We heard earlier today that Nintendo will be showing off the Wii U at CES in January but itnow appears as though it will be nothing more than a replay of the E3 2011 showing. So that means it’s unlikely that we will see any real games for the system other than the tech demos that were shown off at E3 last year.
“Nintendo of America, working with the 2012 International CES management, will offer demos of the upcoming Wii U console to members of the media who did not see the system at the 2011 E3 Expo. However, Nintendo will not have a booth at CES, nor does it plan to include any games, experiences or information beyond what was available at the 2011 E3 Expo. Production and development efforts remain on track for the Wii U launch, which will take place between the start of the 2012 E3 Expo in June, and the end of 2012.”

3.- Kotaku Japan has conducted a test to how see loading times for retail based PlayStation Vita games faire against digital copies. The results show that loading times between the digital and physical versions of Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Army Corps of Hell aren’t the same. There’s a four second delay between them, leading Kotaku to favour retail copies.
