Information Update - Nintendo 3DS
1.- A freelance game translator over at GlitterBerri has confirmed that the two Zelda games that surfaced yesterday for the Nintendo 3DS are completely fake.

Youtube channel Gamer Live TV has posted footage of the stunning Legend of Zelda demo for the Wii U from this years Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. The technical demo is demonstrated by Erik Peterson who is the Localization Producer at Nintendo of America. Nintendo has yet to confirm the final art style for The Legend of Zelda on Wii U.
-Using を instead of の, which renders it completely nonsensical
-Writing “fire” in kanji and “ice” in katakana makes the titles inconsistent. They should either write both in katakana or both in kanji
2.- Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai has reiterated to fans that the next Smash Brosgame which is due out on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will take a while, but fans patience will be rewarded. Sakurai has always stated that the game is very early is development andmentioned earlier that there had been ‘no progress’ on the highly anticipated game.
“I can’t really say anything until things settle down with Kid Icarus … And a lot of it will depend on the team that I end up assembling for Smash Bros. It may take a while, but I think your patience will be rewarded.”
3.- Japanese publication CoroCoro has revealed that next months issue will feature a new Pokemon character who will be making his début in the 15th Pokemon movie. Pokemon website Pokebeach believes Keldeo, the fourth member of the Musketeer Trio, is the most likely choice to be revealed in the next edition of CoroCoro.
The game which launches April 13th uses the built-in camera functions and augmented-reality features of Nintendo 3DS to enhance a sinister, spellbinding storyline, incorporating players own pictures and surroundings to create a personalized 3D horror experience.
Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir introduces a mysterious girl named Maya who has been hiding in the shadows of an old house. Players must help Maya break free from a terrifying curse by aiding her escape from the clutches of a malevolent woman in black. By using the Nintendo 3DS system’s built-in camera, players can view Maya in their own surroundings as the game’s eerie events unfold.
Included with the game is a 16-page AR Book, known as the “diary of faces” in the game’s Story Mode, which serves as a gateway into this haunting experience. As players view the book’s images through the lenses of the Nintendo 3DS camera, they enter its pages using augmented reality. At times, pages will come to life in the form of movies, revealing past events that offer insights into the mysteries surrounding the diary. In other moments, characters will emerge from the pages into the player’s world via augmented reality in the form of evil spirits that attack from all directions.
4.- Tales of the Abyss is already out in Australia and Europe, but the game doesn’t launch in North America until the 14th of February. For those of you who are still waiting for the game, there are more screenshots to help tide you over that you can check out after the break.

NetherRealm Studios has announced that it’s brining the superb fighting franchise Mortal Kombat to PlayStation Vita. Mortal Kombat is due for release sometime in March and will bring with it some new gameplay additions tailored to the PlayStation Vita hardware. There isn’t much more information at present but it’s certainly one to look forward to.
