1.- Sega has revealed a select bunch of games that it plans to show off at next weeks E3 event in Los Angeles. The games include Aliens Colonial Marines for Wii U along withSonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - which is widely tipped for a Wii U release. Here’s the titles that Sega has confirmed that they will be showing:

- Aliens: Colonial Marines
- The Cave
- Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
- Jet Set Radio
- Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz
- Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown
An editor from CNET believes that E3’s excitement fades year by year. He thinks that in order for E3 to remain relevant, it need showcase new and unique hardware annually. He claims that the Wii U is not new hardware because it was introduced at E3 2011. There are many ideas shared by the editor, which he claims will make this year’s E3 better. One statement given by the editor, for example, is that game systems “should be cheap, and sell content subscriptions.” Are you willing to pay periodically in order to continue playing your video games?
Take-Two Interactive has announced that a Wii U version of NBA 2K13 will release in the console’s launch window. The game will be available to purchase on October 5th for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, PC and Wii. Nintendo already confirmed that Wii U’s release date won’t be revealed at this year’s E3 so we probably won’t get specific release dates of any software during the expo.

2.- Square Enix has unleashed the first trailer for Hitman: Absolution which is due to be released on November 20th. The game is currently confirmed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, but it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to suspect that the game will also come to Wii U. We will hear more about the game at E3 next week.
“One of our goals has always been to make a game that’s worthy of the Disney name. We wanted this game to feel like a Disney film. There are plenty of stories to tell in Wasteland. We’ve just scratched the surface.”
Apple CEO Time Cook has told All Things Digital that he believes Apple is already firmly in the gaming space and the company will continue to get much bigger within the gaming sector. Cook claims that he’s not particularly interested in the current traditional console business, and would rather bring something new to the table.
