Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- These have been confirmed as fakes. Not fake in a malicious way, but simply fan-made mockups that could be mis-interpreted as real because they look so nice. It’s hard to tell as the original source of the images is in Chinese.

It would have been cool if they were real! But what do you think, should Nintendo have released something like this?

2.- With the eShop launch slowly creeping up on us its no surprise that the developers of Mega Man Legends 3would try to get people hyped for the demo that will determine whether the full game gets a release. And with this in mind they have released a whole new set of gorgeous looking screenshots and artwork to get people salivating at just the mention of Mega Man. 

They have also released some new details about the demo. The Prototype Version will include over 10 different missions to choose from. It will also feature hand drawncutscenes and loading scenes with images of artwork from the game. Following is a batch of the Game's screenshots.

3.- Trade publication MCV is reporting that the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is currently scheduled to be released in November.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D was originally due to be released on the Nintendo 3DS during the summer but Konami have apparently decided to delay the game until November in an effort to perfect it.

4.- Pokémon Black and White art director Ken Sugimori has told the Official Nintendo Magazine that the company still have plenty of interesting ideas for new Pokémon characters.

Whilst there are currently 650 different Pokémon in existence Sugimori believes that recruiting new talent helps bring about fresh ideas and characters for the immensely popular franchise.

“It’s not only myself designing new Pokémon – we have about 20 people in our team at Game Freak who design Pokémon, so if every one of them came up with 10 Pokémon ideas, it’s going to be 200. And that will make a lot of Pokémon designs.”

“Also, there are people still coming in new to Game Freak and that’s where we get fresh ideas from.”

1.- Han sido confirmados como falsos estos diseños rumoreados como versiones especiales de la 3DS. Es una pena, porque molaban muchísimo, pero bueno...

¿Creéis que Nintendo tendría que sacar algo así?

2.- Con el lanzamiento de la eShop en seguida, han sido sacadas más pantallas y detalles sobre MegaMan Legends 3 Prototype Version. 

La Versión Prototipo tendrá 10 Misiones para elegir, cutscenes echas a mano y arte de cargar del videojuego final. Pantallas del juego arriba en el post.

3.- Según MVC Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D saldrá en Noviembre de 2,011.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D iba a ser lanzado en Verano, pero Konami ha decidido darse más tiempo para mejorar el juego.

4.- El director gráfico de Pokemon Blanca y Negra Ken Sugimori ha declarado que para nada Pokemon se va a quedar sin diseños.

Sugimori cree que aún habiendo 650 Pokemon, pueden hacer sin problema muchísimos más diseños, declara lo siguiente:

“No estoy yo solo creando ideas para Pokemon, somos como más o menos 20, conque a cada uno se le ocurran 10 diseños nuevos, ya son 200 Pokemon nuevos, y eso son muchos Pokemon.”

“Además hay nueva gente viniendo nueva a Gamefreak, y de ahí sacamos ideas nuevas.”
