Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- A really MASSIVE amount of news regarding the 3DS. 
Shinobi is coming to the 3DS and MTV Multiplayer has shared their impressions of the game. Fans of the series will be happy to hear that the game is “punishingly difficult” and “you constantly have to be aware of your surroundings and react accordingly.” 

It’s also noted that this is “an entirely new project by Griptonite Games, with new level designs, fully 3D character models and new gameplay mechanics.” Unfortunately, “the controls feel a little stilted,” although they will surely be tweaked until the game is released in September.


Its been two days since we first heard about Shinobi coming to the 3DS and the information floodgates have opened. According to the official press release, Shinobi should be hitting the 3DS in September. The release also notes that the main character of the game is the father of Joe Musashi, the protagonist of the first threeShinobi games, so this might be a prequel. 2.- Transformers: Dark of the Moon looks nice. But this is a Transformers game where you can’t transform. You can in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. But on the Wii and 3DS you remain in a “weaponized vehicle mode,” which means you’re a car with guns and other things that go boom. 

If the driving mechanics are solid this may end up being a strength for the game, so I’ll do my best to reserve judgement for the moment. But it is an odd decision by the developers either way.

3.- Capcom recently held a launch event for Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and revealed that if you fufill certain conditions in the game you can unlock an alternate costume for each character called EX Clothing. 

It’s not much but it does add to the replay value of the game.

4.- Take this with a grain of salt, but a user at NeoGAF has said that Metal Gear Solid 5 will be a multi-platform release, with the game arriving on the Xbox 360, PS3, NGP and “possibly” the Nintendo 3DS. 

Obviously we’re still awaiting Snake Eater on the 3DS, so this wouldn’t be the world’s biggest shock. But it’s a big, juicy rumor either way. Hopefully it’s not just a total fabrication.

Noticias Nuevas - Nintendo 3DS

1.- Un montón de Noticias de 3DS hoy. 

Shinobi viene a Nintendo 3DS y ya ha salido un review sobre el juego, que lo tilda de increíblemente difícil. Tienes que estar constantemente alerta, mirando tus alrededores y reaccionando adecuadamente. 

Es notable que esto es un juego completamente nuevo "con nuevos niveles, personajes y gráficos 3D". Aunque los controles se nota que no están terminados.

Podéis ver las pantallas que hay del juego, arriba, con la noticia en Inglés. Por no hacer la entrada muy larga.

2.- Transformers: Dark of the Moon parece que está bien. Pero es un juego de Transformers en el que en la versión de Wii y Nintendo 3DS no te puedes transformar, en vez de eso tienes un coche súper-armado. 

Si las mecánicas de conducción son buenas, puede ser un juego de buena habilidad.

3.- Capcom dijo que para su juego de Resident Evil para 3DS, puedes encontrar distintos vestidos, formas de vestir, llamados EX Clothing, si cumples condiciones específicas en el juego. 

No es mucho, pero añade al contenido del juego.

4.- No os toméis esto muy en serio, pero parece que Resident Evil 5 será un juego lanzado para PS3, Xbox 360, NGP, Wii y Nintendo 3DS.
