Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has told US gaming publication Nintendo Power that the company are currently discussing whether to remake The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask for the Nintendo 3DS.

If everyone makes enough noise then Nintendo will consider remaking Majora’s Mask for 3DS.

After playing Ocarina of Time 3D, the next question that comes to mind is: Will we get a Majora’s Mask remake next?

Would you like to play such a remake?

Well, Yes!

It’s been 13 years since Ocarina of Time was originally released, and one of the big things that we made this remake possible was that there was an outpour of emotions from people who said they would like to see this game done. We said we could do it in 3D, so we did. I think certainly if there was a similar output of emotion and clamor from fans for a remake of Majora’s Mask, it wouldn’t be an utter impossibility.

Thinking on it now, having a handheld Majora’s Mask where you could kind of just set things down on your own time – close it, set it aside and come back to it later – might be a game play element some fans will actually take to and might really appreciate. Especially considering how you really had to rush through the original game, in a sense.

2.- More great news which could end up being reality: Eiji Aonuma would absolutely love to make a Zelda film if he had an unlimited budget. Aonuma told Nintendo Power that it is something that he has always dreamed of doing.

“I always thought it would be really cool to have a real Zelda movie, something really grand and sweeping”.

“I have neither the time nor the wherewithal for all that and even if I did have the money to make such a movie, I don’t know if it would turn out well”.

“How cool it would be if something like that would happen sometime in the future.”

3.- This Mario Kart 3DS kind of confirms some rumours about the game, such as coins being used to increase top speed, and online 8-player racing. I said kind of, because even though the guy says it, I'm not entirely convinced:

4.- Nintendo has released this weeks Nintendo 3DS eShop chart. The chart showcases the most popular downloadable software on the Nintendo 3DS.

1.- El productor de Zelda Eiji Aonuma ha dicho a la publicación estadounidense Nintendo Power que la compañía está actualmente discutiendo el rehacer The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask para la Nintendo 3DS. 

Si todos hacemos el suficiente ruido, reharán el juego de Majora’s Mask para la 3DS.

Tras jugar Ocarina of Time 3D, la próxima pregunta que viene a la mente es: ¿Tendremos un remake de Majora's Mask ahora?

¿Os gustaría jugar ese remake?

¡Pues, claro!

Han sido 13 años desde que Ocarina of Time fuera originalmente lanzado, y una de las grandes cosas que hicieron ese remake posible fue que había un montón de emociones de gente que quería que ésto se hiciera. Dijimos que podíamos hacerlo en 3D, así que lo hicimos. Creo que si hubiera el mismo clamor y esperanza de los fans, el remake de Majora's Mask no sería una imposibilidad.

Pensándolo ahora, tener un Majora’s Mask portátil donde pudieras ponerlo todo a tu tiempo - cerrarlo, dejarlo un rato, y volver a ello más tarde - podría ser un elemento de gameplay que algunos fans realmente apreciarían. Especialmente considerando cómo tenías que darte mucha prisa en el juego original.

2.- Más grandes noticias que podrían acabar siendo realidad: A Eiji Aonuma le encantaría hacer una película de Zelda sin límite de budget. Aonuma dijo a Nintendo Power que es algo que siempre ha soñado hacer.

3.- Este vídeo de Mario Kart 3DS semiconfirma ciertos aspectos ya rumoreados del juego, tales como que las monedas proporcionan velocidad y que el multijugador es de 8 jugadores online:
