More After the Break...

- 5.4% said they weren’t intending to buy one after the price drop – out of these 42.1% blamed the current selection of games. 15.3% revealed that they would never buy one, ever.

Starting Sept. 1, Ambassadors will be able to download 10 NES Virtual Console games at no charge and before they are available to the public. These games, including Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and the Legend of Zelda, are slated to become paid downloadable games, but Ambassadors get them early for free. Later in the year, once the paid version of the games are available in the Nintendo eshop, Ambassadors can download any of the remaining games or any of the updated versions at no cost.
By the end of 2011, Nintendo will provide Ambassadors with 10 Gamb Boy Advance Virtual Console games. These include games like Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario ADvance 3, Mario Kart : Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare INc: Mega Microgame$ and Mario vs. Donkey Kong. The games will be available exclusively to Ambassadors and Nintendo currently has no plans to make these 10 games available to the general public on the Nintendo 3DS in the future.
More details about this program will be announced in the future.
Your company’s heroes will go on over 100 different quests that range from fighting monsters to seeking out treasure.
Familiar stages of the original game have been expanded with new areas to explore and the original game won’t be included in Cave Story 3D because there isn’t enough space on the 3DS card. Cave Story 3D will launch this November.
6.- Robert Bowling, Infinity Wards Creative Strategist, believes that Wii owners can have an ‘awesome Call of Duty experience on Wii’. Infinity Ward are busy creating Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 whilst Treyarch is porting the game across to Wii.
“The Wii has grown so much as a platform. The great thing is Treyarch proved that you can have an awesome experience on the Wii with Call of Duty. They’ll actually be handling that for Modern Warfare 3.”
7.- Edmund McMillen, one of the developers behind the critically acclaimed Super Meat Boy, believes that there are only two good motion controlled games on the market. McMillen has apparently played the majority of games for Wii but is only really convinced by two of them; Wii Sports and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
