Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- According to Industry Gamers the Nintendo 3DS is currently leading the way for 3D purchasing intent, which is very good, for when people decide to take a step forward.

Whilst 3D may not be as big as some companies had originally anticipated it to be, Nintendo will undoubtedly be in a dominant position in the 3D space once the officially announced price cut begins to take place throughout the world.

Related to this, and to the price cut, used sales for the Nintendo 3DS have doubled in Japan following it. Online tracking firm Media Create believe that the sales spike of used Nintendo 3DS consoles is due to the fact that retailers have slashed the price because of the forthcoming price cut.


Nintendo has reconfirmed that gamers will be able to get their hands on The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords absolutely free this September to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series. 

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords will be available for free download via Nintendo DSiWare or via the Nintendo 3DS eShop.


Apparently Walmart will be dropping the price of the Nintendo 3DS to $169.99 three days before the Nintendo 3DS has its price cut on August 11th.


2.- We know what half of the twenty Ambassador Program games, given to early adopters of the 3DS for free are going to be. 

But according to Nintendo World Report, Nintendo will reveal the rest of the games on or around August 12th. This would coincide with the price drop.


We heard that Kirby & The Amazing Mirror may be one of the free GBA games given to early adopters of the 3DS. Then we heard otherwise. 

But now it’s being said there is a good chance the game will be one of the free games. Though Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, the other rumoured game, is less likely to appear.


3.- Nintendo’s most recent annual report details the company’s best-selling Wii games since the system launched back in 2006. 

The list only comprises of Nintendo developed titles but it’s worth a look mainly due to the incredible sales numbers some of these software titles achieved.


4.- At the moment there is a festival being held in Japan and one of the floats happens to be related to Kid Icarus: Uprising, and it’s very impressive.

5.- Chronoblade is coming to the 3DS. The game involves the main character (above) fighting her way through multiple scrolling platforms on the top screen in order to get to the boss at the end. You’re able to rewind time by manipulating a clock on the bottom of the screen with your stylus. 

One of the examples given about how this feature will be used in the game has the character obtaining an item and then rewinding time to use the item in the past to unlock a new path. Chronoblade is still in the preliminary stages of development but the developers estimate the game could be ready by February of next year.

1.- Según Industry Gamers la Nintendo 3DS se encuentra liderando el mercado de tecnología 3D, lo que está muy bien, para cuando todo el mundo decida dar el paso adelante.

Mientras que el 3D no es tan enormemente aceptado como algunas compañías querían, Nintendo estará sin duda en una posición dominante en el espacio 3D para cuando el corte de precio tenga lugar.

2.- Ya sabemos la mitad de los videojuegos que tendremos con el programa de embajadores de Nintendo, regalados a los consumidores tempranos de la 3DS.

Pero según Nintendo World Report, Nintendo revelará la otra mitad de los juegos el 12 de Agosto, cuando tenga lugar el corte.

Ya oímos que Kirby & The Amazing Mirror podría ser uno de los juegos de GBA regalado a los consumidores de 3DS. Luego escuchamos que no.

Pero ahora se dice, en NWR, que este juego  tiene una gran posibilidad de aparecer en los regalos proporcionados por Nintendo.

3.- He aquí los juegos con más éxito de Nintendo Wii, desde que saliera la consola en el año 2,006. 

La lista sólo contiene títulos de Nintendo, pero las cifras son impresionantes.

4.- Ahora mismo hay un festival en Japón con una estatua dedicada a Kid Icarus: Uprising.
