Lady Gaga graces the cover of the new issue of Harper’s Bazzar, on newsstands later this month. The picture, taken by Dutch photographers Inez and Vinoodh on the set of Gaga’s video for “Yoü And I,” is the magazine’s first black-and-wite cover in over 20 years.

She confesses, “Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I’m always the same person inside.”


“I think what has been lovely about my relationship with the public is that they expect something unexpected from me.”


On her body image: “I’m very free-spirited,” she says. “Even when I was a kid, I used to run around naked with the babysitter, driving her crazy.” She attributes her body confidence to dancing, and “I do yoga, I do Bikram and I run, and I eat really healthy. You know, my work sort of feeds me. I keep in shape by working hard.”

“Don’t you think that what’s on the cover of a magazine is quite artificial?” she continued. “There’s this idea that it’s all natural, but everything’s been staged to look natural. It is also an invention. It’s just that my inventions are different. I often get asked about my artifice, but isn’t fashion based on the idea that we can create a fantasy?”

On spending time on her own, due to her travel schedule: “When you’re alone as much as I am,” she observes, “you become accustomed to your solitude and embrace it.”

On taking up surfing, which she tried for the first time on a two-day vacation to Mexico in August: “I fell off a lot in the beginning,” she says, “but one of the surfers said to me, ‘Now that you can stand up, just look into the future and enjoy the ride.’ I thought that was an interesting metaphor about life.”

2.- Lady Gaga is scheduled to appear on Jonathan Ross’ new chat show in the UK next month, the singer announced Friday on her official website. 
Lady Gaga has already been on the Jonathan Ross show twice. Once in The Fame Era, and once in The Fame Monster Era. Now it’s time to see her in The Born This Way Era.

Tune in to ITV1 on Saturday, October 8th to catch Gaga’s special performance and look out for details on how to get tickets.

VIDEO.- Lady Gaga has revealed to V Magazine her Album "Born This Way" will have 6 Music Videos. For now we've got 4, Born This Way, Judas, The Edge of Glory, and You and I.


Gaga revealed Little Monsters will be choosing the 6th Music Video for "Born This Way".


About the continuation of "Telephone", Lady Gaga said it will not form part of the "Born This Way" Album.

RUMORS.- Apparently the next Lady Gaga Video will be coming out in November. It is rumored Lady Gaga won't say the name to the single until the video is up on LadyGagaVEVO.

SINGLE STATS UPDATE.- "Yoü and I" moves up four spots to number #4 on Billboard's Digital Songs Chart after selling 175,000 copies last week.


Yoü and I is number 03 on Lebanon Charts, with Bloody Mary number 09. Bloody Mary peaked at number 1.


'Yoü and I' has it's 2nd week on #1 in the Cyprus Official Chart with 'Judas' #6 and 'Born This Way' #12.

3.- Just weeks after Gaga’s smash hit single “The Edge of Glory” ended its 3-month run in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100, Mother Monster is back in the top tier as her latest release “Yoü And I” jumps 16->6 on this week’s chart. Thanks to Gaga’s legendary performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, the track is one of the top gainers with a 61% increase in sales (175,000 copies) and 32% in airplay.


The You & I remixes will be on UK iTunes on the 19th September.
You and I is number 5 in the US iTunes.

Lady GaGa’s Born This Way is the 2011′s biggest chart debut to date with the massive 1.1 million in sales in June.

'Born This Way' has now outsold 'Teenage Dream' in the United States in only 4 months. It has sold 2,857 more copies. (1,755,301-1,752,444)

The Mutt Lange-produced “Yoü And I” becomes Lady Gaga’s eleventh consecutive top ten hit in the United States, putting her in fourth place among solo artists with the most top top tens in a row, only behind Janet Jackson, Madonna and Whitney Houston, and tying her with Mariah Carey.

Since the release of “Just Dance” back in 2008, Gaga sold more than 35 million digital tracks in the U.S. alone, among which are “Poker Face,” the most downloaded song by a female artist of all time, and “Paparazzi,” which was the singer’s only number one on Billboard’s Radio Songs until “Born This Way” stormed the chart earlier this year.

Worldwide, her international hits such as “Bad Romance,” “Alejandro” and “Judas” as well as albums, including the hot-selling Born This Way, have moved an impressive 90 million copies, which already makes Gaga one of the best-selling musicians of all time.


4.- Lady Gaga will headline Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2012 on December 31st live from New York City. Ryan Seacrest, who has been co-hosting the program since 2005, shared the big news during his radio show today. Gaga is set to take the stage in Times Square to perform hits from her multi-platinum record Born This Way in front of a massive crowd of around a million people.

Last year, Gaga celebrated New Year’s Eve by announcing release dates for her new album and single. As of today, Born This Way, which came out on May 23rd, has sold over 6 million copies worldwide, while the title track has reached number one in more than 20 countries, including the U.S. and Canada.

5.- MyGoodDeed and HandsOn Network, lead organizers of the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance (“9/11 Day”), today announced the release of new “I Will” Public Service Advertising spots, part of the incredible inspiring campaign to encourage all Americans to pay tribute on the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 by engaging in good deeds, supporting charitable causes, or volunteering in their communities.


Lady Gaga wasn't less, and she showed again what an amazing human being she is, lending her image for this campaign.

Gaga recently remembered where she was and what she was doing when it all happened. “On September 11, I was at school with my girlfriends,” she recalled of the day that forever changed her home city.

“I just remember that the history teachers had us all piled into one room and had a television on and none of us believed it was happening,” she continued. “So we didn’t believe it, so we ran up to the roof and I just remember we got up to the roof, and one tower had already fallen and we all watched the second tower fall all together.”

While Gaga was not anywhere near the actual site of the attack in downtown Manhattan, her mother was near it. “I don’t know; you really can’t describe something like that,” she said. “It’s too horrific. 7.- During an interview with radio BBC 1, Lady Gaga has revealed she would love Lily Savage to participate in one of her videos.
Who is Miss Savage you ask? Well, nothing less than... PAUL O'GRADY!

Lily Savage is the comical alter ego of this English journalist, who has already interviewed Lady Gaga in various occasions. A real Drag Queen who really, he has said, loves Lady Gaga.

Paul has said: "I love all her outfits, how she takes it to the extreme, she's basically a drag. She looks like Lily's daughter. And she could be easily. You can imagine me with her, dressed with a jail outfit and a hospital room scenery."


Lily Savage has been retired for some time now, having not appeared on television for a long time, but he would take her out of her retirement, if Gaga would please.

1.- Harper's Bazaar, una de las revistas de moda más prestigiosas del mundo, volverá a tener como portada a Lady Gaga para su edición de septiembre. La revista, fundada hace ciento cuarenta y cuatro años (en 1867), se publica en diecinueve países, incluyendo a España.

Lady Gaga ya fue portada el pasado abril, que contó con una entrevista y una sesión fotográfica a cargo de Terry Richardson. 2.- El cuarto single de “Born This Way” entró finalmente al top 10 de Billboard, saltando desde la posición 16 a la 6 en sólo una semana, logrando así el onceavo single consecutivo de Gaga entre las primeras diez canciones de Estados Unidos. 

El enorme salto de “Yoü and I” se debe principalmente a la performance de Gaga en los VMA’s 2011 que subieron considerablemente las ventas y aumentaron las reproducciones en las radios.

Lady Gaga volverá al programa inglés “Friday Night with Jonathan Ross” para cantar luego del lanzamiento de “Born This Way”. La cantante regresará para una nueva performance y posible entrevista con Ross, a cuyo programa ya ha asistido en dos ocasiones.

3.- Lady Gaga cantará frente a cerca de un millón de personas en la noche de año nuevo en Times Square en Nueva York. Ryan Seacrest, quien anima el evento desde 2005, fue quien anunció la performance de Gaga hoy en su programa radial.

4.- Dj White Shadow, cuyo nombre real es Paul Blair empezó a pinchar cuando tenía 17 años en Japón, colgaba sus remixes en internet y estos eran muy demandados ya que tenían todo lo que cualquier amante de la electrónica deseaba: ritmo, fluidez y fuerza.
Hasta ahora, Paul, no era muy conocido en el mundo de la música, sólo era conocido en su entorno y en algunos trabajillos que realizó para otros músicos.

Paul seguía pichando en discotecas de Los Ángeles, coincidió que Gaga estuvo en una de ellas, y esta interesó por él.
Paul recibió un e-mail de Gaga preguntándole si él hacía sus propios ritmos, su contestación fue afirmativa, adjuntándole alguno de ellos. Pocos días después el Dj recibió una llamada de Gagapreguntándole si deseaba colaborar con ella, en lo que rápidamente respondió que sí.

Empezaron a trabajar juntos durante el Monster Ball Tour, y finalmente hasta la fecha, en el álbum Born This Way. Paul es uno de los co-productores del disco junto con Fernando Garibay.

Sobre si le gustaría hablar un poco sobre cómo fue la producción del álbum Born This Way y qué era trabajar con Lady Gaga.

Dj White Shadow nos respondió con un poco de prisa, pero con sinceras palabras:

"Trabajar con Gaga es impresionante. Ella es como una hermana para mí y trae lo mejor de todos los que están a su alrededor. Además, ella es super divertida para trabajar y muy talentosa."
"Así que sí, por supuesto, estará encantado de hacer tantas cosas como pueda con ella en el futuro."
