Square Enix won’t be too pleased this week as it’s been revealed that Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance sales are down 80% from last week when the game officially launched in Japan. Without further ado, here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts:

Nielsen’s recently published Game Rank survey shows that consumers are most looking forward to getting their hands on Assassin’s Creed 3, Halo 4 and Madden NFL 13 this year. Disney’s Epic Mickey: The Power of Two and EA’s Madden NFL 13 came out on top for Nintendo’s ageing Wii console. Sadly Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story were both ranked below The Amazing Spiderman and the forthcoming Men In Black game.

According to word on the internet the next edition of Edge magazine will include a special surprise for Nintendo fans. Sadly there’s absolutely no hint as to what it may be, but with E3 fast approaching it could have sometime to do with Wii U. What would you like to be revealed in the next edition of the magazine?
A source from developer N Space has told Go Nintendo that Nintendo is hard at work developing a Nintendo 3DS headset which will launch sometime close to the debut ofHeroes of Ruin. Nintendo has yet to confirm whether or not it’s developing such a peripheral, but it doesn’t sound too far-fetched if they are.
Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has awarded Fire Emblem: Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS a fantastic 36/40 review score. Each of Famitsu’s four reviewers decided to award the highly anticipated game 9/10. Fire Emblem Awakening is the third Nintendo 3DS game in recent months to be a awarded a high score from Famitsu, with Kid Icarus: Uprising receiving a perfect 40/40 score and Kingdom Hearts 3D receiving 38/40.
3.- Chris Faylor, the Community Manager for developer Gearbox has stated categorically thatAliens: Colonial Marines on Wii U is not a port. When Faylor was asked if the game was indeed a simple port of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game he replied “I hate that word. The Wii U version is not a port. Remove it from your vocabulary.”
Namco, Capcom and Sega have revealed their mystery collaboration game as Project X Zone. The game is a strategic role playing game which features numerous iconic characters from each of the game studios. Project X Zone’s gameplay involves pairing up these characters and taking them into battle. Here’s the confirmed list of characters:
