1.- Online gaming publication CVG has managed to get their hands on a Nintendo 3DS XL system. The Nintendo 3DS XL isn’t due to be released until July 28th in Europe, and August 19th in North America. The Nintendo 3DS XL will retail for $199.99 in North America, but in Europe the pricing is determined by retailers.

The latest edition of Nintendo Power has revealed that WayForward Technologies is planning to bring Mighty Switch Force HD to Wii U. The publication states that Mighty Switch Force HD is aiming to be a launch title for the Wii U eShop. Here’s some additional information taken from the latest edition of the magazine:

Super Smash Bros creator, Masahiro Sakurai Tweeted the above image and proclaimed “This is what our staff drew on the white board. It’s good!” Sakurai revealed a few weeks back that the team is collaborating with Namco Bandai to help develop the next Smash Bros game for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Smash Bros series creator Masahiro Sakurai has told Nintendo Power that Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS probably won’t feature a host of new characters, because the team want to focus on quality, rather than quantity. Sakurai says that he would rather refine the existing roster, instead of adding additional characters.
