Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- Nintendo of America has told online publication Joystiq that the recently announced Nintendo Video for the Nintendo 3DS will be available to American consumers sometime during the summer.

Nintendo Europe and Nintendo UK will be rolling out the service to Nintendo 3DS owners tomorrow. Nintendo of America also clarified that Netflix will still arrive on 3DS this summer.

“Nintendo’s short-form video service that delivers special video content for Nintendo 3DS systems will launch in North America later this summer. In addition, Netflix members who have an unlimited plan starting at $7.99 a month and access to a broadband wireless Internet connection will soon be able to download a free Netflix application that allows them to watch movies and TV shows on their Nintendo 3DS systems at no extra charge. 2.- Nintendo UK has confirmed to the Official Nintendo Magazine that the Nintendo Video app will be appearing on the Nintendo 3DS eShop tomorrow. We heard yesterday that Nintendo Video was coming to Europe, but there was no confirmation of when it would be arriving in the UK.

The app is free and allows you to download video clips in 2D and 3D, including comedy clips, cartoons and music videos, to your 3DS.

Nintendo Video can also make use of SpotPass, meaning if you allow it to it’ll send clips to your 3DS (even if it’s in Sleep Mode) whenever you’re near a wireless hotspot or when you’re at home if you have a Wi-Fi connection.

The first content to be made available will include special 3D clips of Oscar’s Oasis, and exclusive 3D episodes of a series called Magic Tricks For Your Nintendo 3DS, showing you all sorts of card tricks and optical illusions in 3D.

3.- Many Final Fantasy Fans, me included, are very wary of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, a rhythm game which was announced a few days ago. 

But one facet of the game that may bring skeptics like myself in for a closer look is the music itself. The soundtrack we’ll be playing with is a collection of the major songs from the numbered Final Fantasy games.

These are the tracks that are confirmed:

• Clash on the Big Bridge (Final Fantasy V)
• One Winged Angel (Final Fantasy VII)
• At Zanarkand (Final Fantasy X)
• The Sunleth Waterscape (Final Fantasy XIII)
• The Final Fantasy main theme

You can also listen to the main theme of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy which is an original composition.

I'm definitely not paying 45-50€ for this, but it would be nicely priced at 35-40€, or dollars in its case.

1.- Nintendo of America ha dicho a la publicación online Joystiq que el recientemente anunciado Nintendo Video, que llegará a Europa mañana, ya confirmado, verá la luz en América en algún momento este verano. 

Nintendo Europe y Nintendo UK sacarán el servicio a los Europeos mañana, mientras que Nintendo of Amercia, en verano. Nintendo of America también dejó claro que Netflix llegará en verano igualmente.

“El servicio que ofrece Nintendo de vídeos en forma corta, a través de la Nintendo 3DS, verá la luz en Amércia este verano. Además, los miembros de Netflix que tengan un plan premium pagando $7.99 por mes, y que tengan acceso a una conexión de banda ancha, podrán decargarse una aplicación para ver la Televisión y películas 3D en sus Nintendo 3DS, completamente gratis. 2.- Nintendo UK ha confirmado al Official Nintendo Magazine que Nitnendo Video llegará a la eShop mañana, a la vez que dio más detalles sobre su contenido.

El app es gratuito y te deja descargarte vídeos en 2D y en 3D, incluyendo clips cómicos, tráilers, dibujos animados, y vídeos musicales.

Nintendo Video también puede hacer uso de SpotPass, lo que quiere decir que si das el permiso para hacerlo, tu 3DS (aunque esté Suspendida) recibirá datos y vídeos directamente si tienes conexión a Internet con Wi-fi.

Los primeros contenidos que habrán incluirán clips en 3D  de Oscar’s Oasis, y episodios exclusivos en 3D, de una serie que se llamará Magic Tricks For Your Nintendo 3DS, enseñándote todo tipo de ilusiones ópticas en 3D.

3.- Muchos fans de Final Fantasy, entre los que me incluyo, estamos un poco mosca con Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, un juego rítmico anunciado hace poco. 

Una parte del juego que puede hacer recobrar la confianza en aquella gente escéptica con el juego, es que la música empleada en éste será una recopilación de todas las anteriores.

Éstas son las confirmadas:
