1.- Nintendo has applied for a patent for a “massively single-player” game. Though no specific game is mentioned, the blurb for the patent indicates similarities to an online version of Animal Crossing.

The game would be played in single player mode, but actions from other players playing the same game would filter through into your game via the Internet.
2.- Danny Bilson Executive Vice President of THQ has told online gaming publication VG247that the company are fully committed to developing hardcore games for the Wii U. Bilson stated that THQ are always looking at unique and innovative ways to use the Wii U’s tablet controller, and that he believes that the console will offer plenty of interesting opportunities for developers.

No, I’m excited about it. I like the controller quite a bit. We’re committed to that platform, so long as our developers find really interesting ways to use the controller so that it’s a unique experience and much more than a port.
3.- Epic Games company president Mike Capps has told an audience at GDC Europe that the company currently has five games in development, none of which are Gears of War related.
We already know that Epic are rather keen on Wii U so let’s hope that one of those five games make it onto Nintendo’s next home console.
4.- Nintendo has told Eurogamer that it’s phasing out current Wii units in favour of a newly designed Wii console. The new console will be slimmer and smaller but lacks Gamecube compatibility. The console will go on sale at Christmas and comes with Wii Sports and Wii Party packed-in.
5.- Nintendo UK has confirmed via a press release that both The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower will definitely be coming to Europe sometime during 2012.
6.- Nintendo of America has finally confirmed via a press release that it’s bringing another batch of high quality titles over to its Nintendo Selects range. The four new titles are Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch Out!! and Super Mario Galaxy. These four titles will retail for around $19.99 each from August 28th.

1.- Nintendo ha apicado una patente para un "juego masivamente de un solo jugador". No se ha especificado el juego, pero se cree, por el origen de la patente, que será Animal Crossing.
2.- Danny Bilson Executive Vice President de THQ ha dicho a VG247 que la compañía está completamente comprometida a realizar juegos hardcore para la consola Wii U. Bilson dijo que THQ siempre miran hacia las maneras de jugar innovativas del tablet controller de la WiiU.
3.- El presidente de Epic Games Mike Cappsha dicho a una audiencia en GDC Europeque la compañía tiene ahora mismo en producción cinco juegos, ninguno de ellos Gears of War.
4.- Nintendo ha dicho a Eurogamer qu eplanea terminar con el modelo actual de la consola Nintendo Wii, para sacar un modelo refinado de la misma. La nueva consola será más pequeña, pero no tiene compatibilidad con Gamecube. Saldrá en Navidad y viene con Wii Sports y Wii Party.
