Information Update - Nintendo 3DS


1.- Nintendo has released two new videos for Mario Kart 7 on the Nintendo 3DS. The first video showcases the game’s Shell Cup and the second gives a look at the Mushroom Cup.

Mario Kart 7 is released December 2nd in Europe and December 4th in North America.

2.- Famed Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter says that the doubt and uncertainty surrounding the Wii U will continue to keep Nintendo share prices down when the firm reports revenues well below its initial financial guidance next week.

“A large market opportunity may exist for the Wii U, but visibility remains limited on pricing and interest. It is unlikely that the Wii U is significantly more powerful than its HD peers, in which case pricing will be the likely driver of sales.”

This may not mean a whole lot, considering it's coming from Capcom, but Kenzo Tsujimoto, the founder of the company has said he has "high expectations" for the Wii U. Unfortunately, that's it. I'd like to think it means they're going to doll out a ton of support for the system, but that faith didn't work out last time.

3.-  According to the Official Nintendo Magazine the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Tri G for Nintendo 3DS will be coming to Europe sometime late next year. 

I would imagine that it will be published by Nintendo in the West much like Monster Hunter Tri for Wii. Hopefully we will hear more information regarding a Western release soon.

The above image is from an article that is apparently from the next issue of Official Nintendo Magazine. As you can see, it’s set the release date for the game as Autumn 2012 which is out of alignment with the release date we know about for Japan. Therefore, the theory is the release date may be for other regions. If you doubt the scan is real, GoNintendo readers have supposedly confirmed it’s real. Still, take it with a grain of salt.


4.- Brand New Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword Harp Trailer:

The Guardian has written an entertaining piece detailing the 25 life lessons from The Legend of Zelda series to help celebrate the franchises 25th anniversary. The many lessons learned include ‘Woman Rule The World’ and ‘If It Ain’t Broke, That’s The Best Time To Fix It’. It’s well worth taking the time out to read it.

5.- Activision and Infinity Ward have released the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3launch trailer. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 arrives November 8th, which is the same day as the game launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
