1.- The latest Iwata Asks has revealed the amount of content in Super Mario 3D Land is comparable to that of theGalaxy games, with the bonus stages almost equal in number to the game’s main stages.
It was also mentioned that, after completing the game’s main stages, StreetPass Time Attack is unlocked, which allows you to race against people you’ve passed in regards to your completion time of the various stages. Plus, if you pass someone who does not have the game, you’ll receive an item. Then, if you pass them again, you’ll receive an even better item.
2.- We heard that demos will be supported with the next system update for the 3DS. So, when asked about the possibility of a demo for Resident Evil: Revelations, Christian Svensson of Capcom replied:
We’re in talks with Nintendo about that and I agree, I think that would help sales a lot. For that to happen we need to get permission to use a larger filesize than demos currently are allowed.
So, there you have it. A demo of Resident Evil: Revelations might be coming to the 3DS.
An official Japanese page for Resident Evil: Revelations has been updated with a date for a new trailer coming this Tuesday with English and Japanese dubs.
3.- Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime made a guest appearance on GameTrailers TV and showcased a brand new trailer for the forthcoming Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Wii.
4.- Sega are apparently hard at work on a brand new Sonic game for Wii U which takes place directly after Generations and will be a spiritual successor to Sonic Colours.
5.- There is new footage of Shinobi from New York Comic-Con that lasts for over twelve minutes.
