1.- Nintendo told online gaming publication Industry Gamers at this years Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas that third party developers have already received final Wii U development kits. Nintendo has already stated to various press outlets that it plans to launch the Wii U sometime after this years E3 event which takes place in Los Angeles in June.

Twitter user @joshua_x has Tweeted the official box-art for TheAtRhythm: Final Fantasywhich has a Nintendo Network logo clearly shown in the top right hand corner. Nintendo Network is likely to be a unified service to connect both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS online, much like Sony’s PSN and Microsoft’s Xbox Live. Maybe we will hear more about Nintendo Network at the Japanese investor conference next week?
Capcom has revealed that the development team behind Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D initially started developing both games by runningResident Evil 5 on the Nintendo 3DS. The development team were so impressed at how Resident Evil 5 ran on the Nintendo 3DS that they began starting work on Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D in parallel with each other.
Ubisoft has announced that the fantastic Rayman Origins for the Nintendo 3DS will be coming to North America on February 20th and will also be available to purchase in Europe a few days earlier on February 16th. Ubisoft announced a release date for Rayman Origins on January 5th but the release date appears to have changed.
2.- Kid Icarus director Masahiro Sakurai has revealed via Twitter that Kid Icarus: Uprising has finally gone gold. Sakurai thanked all those that were involved in the game’s development and also joked that maybe he’d finally be able to rest up on Saturday and Sunday. Now he’s done with Kid Icarus lets hope that work begins on Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS.



3.- Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for the forthcoming Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition for the Nintendo DS. Nintendo has already announced that the game will be released March 7th in Japan but has yet to announce whether we will get the game here in the West.
4.- According to reports, you won’t be able to immediately marry someone in Harvest Moon: The Land’s Origins. You start as friends with potential spouses and, only after doing things like giving them presents and going on dates will you be able to get married. After that you will be able to have children and go on trips with the whole family.
A new potential partner for the female character was also revealed. The bachelor known as Neil has a cool personality and can be a bit unsociable, but he has a soft spot for animals. You can check after the break for a few screenshots of the new bachelor Neil and other parts of the game.

No word yet on whether they will be bringing the titles to Australia as well.
5.- There is some not-so-clear footage of Resident Evil: Revelations after the break that provides a closer look at the co-op multiplayer part of the game, ‘Raid Mode’.
Nintendo has revealed that Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword will be coming to the 3DS via the eShop on the 2nd of February in North America. Here is how the game is described:
Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword is a swordfighting action game that is simple to play. Just use the A Button to attack, and the B Button combined with the Circle Pad to dodge. The secret of Iai is not reckless swinging, but rather one well-timed, swift attack. Aim for openings in your enemy’s guard–in the instant after you’ve dodged an attack, or just before he swings.
