Twitter user @joshua_x has Tweeted the official box-art for TheAtRhythm: Final Fantasywhich has a Nintendo Network logo clearly shown in the top right hand corner. Nintendo Network is likely to be a unified service to connect both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS online, much like Sony’s PSN and Microsoft’s Xbox Live. Maybe we will hear more about Nintendo Network at the Japanese investor conference next week?

Capcom has revealed that the development team behind Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D initially started developing both games by runningResident Evil 5 on the Nintendo 3DS. The development team were so impressed at how Resident Evil 5 ran on the Nintendo 3DS that they began starting work on Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D in parallel with each other.
Capcom has uploaded five minutes of Resident Evil: Revelations footage from the company’s Premier Party event earlier today. The footage contains plenty of spoilers from the game’s story mode, so for those of you who don’t wish to tarnish the experience you may want to avoid watching it. Resident Evil: Revelations launches January 27th in Europe and February 7th in North America.

Ubisoft has announced that the fantastic Rayman Origins for the Nintendo 3DS will be coming to North America on February 20th and will also be available to purchase in Europe a few days earlier on February 16th. Ubisoft announced a release date for Rayman Origins on January 5th but the release date appears to have changed.

2.- Kid Icarus director Masahiro Sakurai has revealed via Twitter that Kid Icarus: Uprising has finally gone gold. Sakurai thanked all those that were involved in the game’s development and also joked that maybe he’d finally be able to rest up on Saturday and Sunday. Now he’s done with Kid Icarus lets hope that work begins on Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS.
Nintendo of America has announced that gamers who pre-order Kid Icarus: Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS are entitled to a free copy of 3D Classics: Kid Icarus. The pre-order bonus is only available at select retailers throughout North America so you’ll have to check whether the store you pre-order at is running the promotion. Kid Icarus: Uprising is scheduled to launch exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on March 23rd in North America.
Konami has unleashed some new images of the limited edition Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Nintendo 3DS hardware bundle. The bundle will be exclusive to Konami Style and will retail for ¥22,980. Capcom has unveiled the Resident Evil 6 trailer a little earlier than expected due to a leak of information to major games publications. As I reported earlier the game will see the return of Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy as the main protagonists. Those expecting to find a Wii U logo at the end of the trailer will be left disappointed as Capcom has only announced it for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC at present. Hopefully we will hear something about a Wii U version at E3. Resident Evil 6 comes out November 20th.

4.- According to reports, you won’t be able to immediately marry someone in Harvest Moon: The Land’s Origins. You start as friends with potential spouses and, only after doing things like giving them presents and going on dates will you be able to get married. After that you will be able to have children and go on trips with the whole family.

A new potential partner for the female character was also revealed. The bachelor known as Neil has a cool personality and can be a bit unsociable, but he has a soft spot for animals. You can check after the break for a few screenshots of the new bachelor Neil and other parts of the game.
Rising Star Games has announced their 2012 line-up for Europe and revealed they are bringing over a few 3DS games, including:

5.- There is some not-so-clear footage of Resident Evil: Revelations after the break that provides a closer look at the co-op multiplayer part of the game, ‘Raid Mode’.

Nintendo has revealed that Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword will be coming to the 3DS via the eShop on the 2nd of February in North America. Here is how the game is described:
Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword is a swordfighting action game that is simple to play. Just use the A Button to attack, and the B Button combined with the Circle Pad to dodge. The secret of Iai is not reckless swinging, but rather one well-timed, swift attack. Aim for openings in your enemy’s guard–in the instant after you’ve dodged an attack, or just before he swings.
