Information Update - Nintendo 3DS

1.- Although Nintendo appears to have been unsuccessful in securing NintendoNetwork.Comit seems the Kyoto based company has managed to snap up NintendoNetwork.Net as the domain name automatically points towards Nintendo.Com.
More After the Break...

I wonder how much the owners of NintendoNetwork.Com were offered for the domain name?

Nintendo of America has announced via Twitter that West Coast Customs will be airing a special episode tonight about the making of the real-life Mario Kart vehicles that were recently shown off at the LA Auto Show late last year. I assume you’ll be able to watch it online at this link right here.
I’ve just remembered that I forgot to post the most recent trailer for the forthcoming The Last Story which is due for release in Europe on February 24th. Nintendo of America has yet to announce whether or not the game is coming Stateside, but given their decision to release Xenoblade Chronicles in April, I’d say it’s quite likely. European gamers will be able to purchase a limited edition version of The Last Story or a standard edition.

2.- DeviartArt user Uriccardo has put his Photoshop skills to good use and has created a number of game boxes for Wii U. Uriccardo has created box-arts for a number of requested titles such as Star Fox Wii U, Metroid Wii U and of course The Legend of Zelda Wii U. You can check out all his designs right here.
Some intrepid individuals have embarked on the mammoth task of recreating the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time using Minecraft. Hyrulecraft is a 1:1 scale replica of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The project itself has taken nine months to complete and the Hyrulecraft Server is now finally live for a limited time preview.
Project Cars is a multi-platform racing game set to be released in 2013, and its website has confirmed that it's coming to the Wii U. It's being developed by Slightly Mad Studios (who worked on Need for Speed SHIFT) as part of their World of Mass Development community, which allows people to participate in the development process.

Here are a few of the game's notable features:
  • Ability to create and manage a racing team so you can compete with your friends.
  • Over ten game modes to cover every form of motorsport.
  • Create your own content such as decals, tunings and racing events.

And, all in all, this sounds amazing if it can be pulled off (which I imagine it can based on the developer's track record). There's no specific information in regards to the Wii U yet though.
