1.- Japan Trust Technology has released a battery today which gives you a whopping ten hours of battery life out of your Nintendo 3DS console.

The downside to the device is the fact that it makes your Nintendo 3DS look exceptionally chunky, but it could be a good trade-off for 4.4 times the system’s standard battery life.
Joe Madureira, the creative director of Darksiders has told online gaming publication CVG that he would be stoked to be given the chance to create a Legend of Zelda comic book. For those not in the know Madureira is a prolific comic book writer and artist who has previously worked on Uncanny X-Men, Deadpool and The Ultimates for Marvel, as well as creating Battlechasers.

2.- The latest edition of Nintendo Power contains a wealth of new and exciting information for the forthcoming Kid Icarus: Uprising on the Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo has released a new trailer for the next instalment in the successful Mario Partyfranchise. The trailer shows off a bunch of exciting mini-games and plenty of multiplayer related shenanigans. Mario Party 9 is due to be released in North America on March 11th and will be arriving in Europe on March 2nd.
3.- Controversial Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has told a panel at this years Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas that Nintendo doesn’t even know that there’s an Internet yet, as he spoke about the inevitable transition to cloud based gaming.
“Sony is a content provider in film and music and games; I think they’re ahead of the curve. Microsoft… They’re right back on track. These guys want to be an entertainment hub. So you’re going to get a box out of Microsoft that’s going to turn your washer and dryer on, and they’re going to give you the multi-purpose console of all time.”
“Nintendo doesn’t even know there’s an Internet yet so trust me, they’re going to be making consoles until someone explains it to them.”
It has been revealed that in Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Kain Highwind, Sephiroth, and Cosmos can be unlocked as sub-characters in the game. There will be also be a card-collecting aspect to the game, with eighty-one cards in total, with three different versions of each card for one to collect.

4.- An employee at Aksys Games, the publishers of 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors in North America, has said they have no plans to localize Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die. The game features a lot of voice acting, so that may explain why they might not want to tackle the project. Still, it’s a bummer to hear the game might not make it over. Here’s hoping some other publisher picks up the game.
