1.- Wow, here’s a nice bunch of rumours for you. Firstly, Visceral Games, the development studio behind the Dead Space series, is apparently readying a new entry to the Dead Space franchise and the game will be released on Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
More After the Break...
Secondly, Insomniac games, the development team behind the Ratchet and Clank series on the PlayStation consoles, is busy developing their new multiplatform title Overstrike for Wii U, along with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
And lastly, Crytek the developers behind Crysis are set to announce TimeSplitters 4 at this years E3 event in June. The long-awaited game will appear on Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The source claims that there are roughly 150-200 games in the works for Wii U.
Nintendo Europe has revealed the official packaging for the forthcoming Pandora’s Towerfor Wii. Pandora’s Tower will be available to purchase as either a standard edition, or a collectors edition. The game comes out April 13th in Europe, but has yet to be announced for North America.

2.- Our favourite Wedbush Morgan industry analyst Michael Pachter has once again taken to damning Nintendo. Pachter recently spoke to GamerLiveTV to announce that Nintendo is in complete disarray, and that the company has officially ’blown it’ with Wii U.
“I think Nintendo is in disarray. I think they’ve completely blown the Wii U by not telling people what the price is going to be. It’s going to launch at $249 because it has to. I think they’re dead anyway because Xbox with Kinect will be priced below that by the time they launch. Wii was a bubble and that the Wii bubble has burst.”

Hideki Sakamoto has announced via Twitter that Level 5′s Time Travellers for Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita is due for release sometime early in the summer. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has promised at least five new titles for 2012: Fantasy Life, Girl’s RPG, Time Travelers, Guild 01 and Yokai Watch.

Time Travelers is set in April 2031, 18 years after a mysterious hole appeared in the skies above Tokyo and lead to an explosion, an incident that’s come to be known as “Lost Hole.” Tokyo has become a futuristic city, with hologram billboards and a 2000 meter tall “Space Elevator.” This Space Elevator, located in Tokyo Bay, provides the city with great amounts of power.

3.- Nintendo of America has announced that gamers who pre-order the wonderful Xenoblade Chronicles at GameStop are eligible to receive a special edition art book. GameStop has mentioned that those who pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles either online, or at one of its retail outlets, will get the limited edition Xenoblade art book.

4.- Pipeworks Software, the creators of uDraw Studio: Instant Artist are working on a game for the Wii U. The following message was shared on the LinkedIn page for Jess Kappeler, a designer with the company:
During my time at Pipeworks I have shipped five games as a lead designer and four as a game designer across multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox 360, XBLA, PSN and Wii. I am currently working on an unannounced game for Nintendo’s Wii U console.

The likely candidate seems like a uDraw title for the Wii U. We'll have to wait and see though

Adweek is reporting that Nintendo has:
...begun preliminary conversations with several major media companies, exploring possible content distribution partnerships for the upcoming Wii U.

At CES in January, they organised meetings with "a select number of top content companies", including "multiple cable networks and Web video producers", and are supposedly focusing on sports and music content. All of this is apparently "very preliminary", however, and could "go nowhere" according to one of Adweek's sources.
Industry Gamer is reporting that, "While multiple developers are on record saying that the Wii U's hardware is in a state of flux, unofficial sources continue to place its power comparable to the Xbox 360/PS3, not above them."

If true, it's a bit of a let down. At the same time, I'm not holding out for a huge increase in graphical capabilities from any console during the next generation, so maybe it won't be a massively noticeable gap like it's been between the 360/PS3 and the Wii?
