Information Update - Nintendo 3DS
1.- Nintendo and GameFreak have issued a trademark for a new Pokemon game titled ”Pokemon Tretta”. Not only has Nintendo registered the name, but they’ve also created a logo for the title as well. In Japan, the word “Tretta” is a popular product name which translates to either bookshelf or bicycle. Nintendo has not only created a Japanese logo for the game, but they’ve also produced an English logo too, which suggests that whatever the game is, it will be heading to the West eventually.

More After the Break...
Disney interactive has revealed the first Epic Mickey: The Power of Two trailer on the latest episode of GTTV. The trailer shows off some of the single player action, as well as the much requested co-op mode staring Oswald. Epic Mickey: The Power of Two is due out on Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this Fall. Disney has yet to announce a Wii U version.“RE4 started in that direction, and RE5 kept going in that direction.”
“I think that especially for the North American market, we need to keep going in that direction, and take that a step further. And that’s exactly one of the reasons that Revelations is the way it is.”
This trend may not continue in the upcoming Resident Evil 6, with which Kawata is not involved, but he still believes the series could benefit by following the example of best-sellers like Call of Duty.
“Looking at the marketing data, the market is small, compared to the number of units Call of Duty and all those action games sell.”
“A ‘survival horror’ Resident Evil doesn’t seem like it’d be able to sell those kind of numbers.”
Based on what we’ve heard, BIT.TRIP Runner 2 from Gaijin Games could come to the Wii U.
2.- There’s no confirmation that Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is coming to the Wii U but it still feels right to share the first screenshots from the game (and they’re after the break). This is either me having a hunch that it still might come to the Wii U, or it’s me in denial.
