1.- Earlier today it was announced that Bioshock Infinite has been delayed until February 2013, possibly paving the way for Rockstar to release its highly anticipated next instalment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise Grand Theft Auto V. Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter believes that the delay wasn’t a chance occurrence, but that Rockstar alerted the publisher that Grand Theft Auto V would be ready by October so Take Two decided to delay Bioshock Infinite. We should find out for sure at E3 next month.

Project Zero 2 Wii producer Keisuke Kikuchi, claims that while Project Zero 2 is a remake of a PlayStation 2 game, it now feels like a brand new game. Kikuchi says that it’s this is down to the dramatic changes that the development team at Tecmo Koei have implemented.
“I feel that to all intents and purposes, it’s a new game! The objective viewpoint that Nintendo brought to the project meant that we ended up reworking a lot of different elements of the game from first principles.”
“We’ve made significant changes to the battle system, and we have added new episodes and several endings. We’ve also brought the graphics up to date, and packed it full of features that put it right at the cutting edge of horror games.”
2.- Sega has announced that it won’t be attending this years Gamescom event which takes place in Cologone from August 15th to the 19th. The publisher claims that the timing of the event didn’t work with its planned release schedule, and that it had made a “commercial decision” to skip it. Nintendo announced last month that they won’t be attending this years event.
“Sega has made the decision not to attend Gamescom this year.”
“Unfortunately the release timing of our 2012 triple-A titles and new projects don’t work with the mid-August scheduling of the show. The decision will not mean that Sega will never attend Gamescom in the future, this was simply a commercial decision made for 2012.”

Tetsuya Nomura, the director behind the Kingdom Hearts franchise, has told Famitsu thatKingdom Hearts 3 will probably be a major curve ball. Nomura also revealed that he’s working on an unannounced title which is completely separate from the Kingdom Hearts series.
Journey developer and thatgamecompany co-founder Jenova Chen has told online publication Venture Beat that PlayStation 3 owners have a greater appreciation of art than both Wii and Xbox 360 owners. Chen then went on to elaborate his claim by stating that Sony has more artistic and adult-focussed taste.
“The player who owns a PlayStation 3 is more likely to be interested in artistic games compared to Wii and Xbox 360.”
“Sony has a more artistic and adult-focused taste. They care about how grown-ups feel toward their games.”
We’re hoping the Wii U will run Unreal Engine 4. Tim Sweeney of Epic Games, however, has said that they’re “aiming very high” and “the intended platforms this is aimed at haven’t even been announced”. Now, obviously, the Wii U has been announced, which means Unreal Engine 4 isn’t one of these intended platforms. It doesn’t mean it won’t happen at all. The support for the Wii U may have been more of an after-thought. But it’s a layer of ambivalence that’s probably going to hang in the air until E3 2012 rolls around.“The player who owns a PlayStation 3 is more likely to be interested in artistic games compared to Wii and Xbox 360.”

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d you steal our garbage?! was announced for the DS and 3DS a few hours ago and the first promotional art for the game has been shared online. You can find it after the break, and the game itself will be available during the fall.
Namco Bandai has revealed they intend to release fifteen titles for the 3DS in 2012. On one hand, it’s nice they’re supporting the platform. On the other, that’s more than one game per month. It’s a bit excessive. But let’s hope my ambivalence is misplaced though.
Yesterday, I wrote about Project Triniate. It’s a browser-based MMORPG being worked on by a 3DS owner, and it’s quite a neat concept. If you were interested in what you saw, there’s more footage after the break.
