1.- Next years Electronic Entertainment Expo may move to a different location if issues aren’t resolved with a proposed renovation to the Los Angeles Convention Centre. “We’re still in discussions with the city of Los Angeles, but we have a number of issues that still need to be resolved. If we can’t resolve them, we are preparing to go elsewhere.”

Reliable Japanese publication The Nikkei is reporting that Nintendo is planning to announce a larger Nintendo 3DS at E3. The revised console will have a 4.3 inch screen, or 1.5 times the current size. The North American and European release could be as soon as the next couple of months. The publication also states that Nintendo will be retailing Wii U for around 30,000 yen. Expect to hear more at Nintendo’s E3 press conference which takes place tomorrow at 9pm PST

Xbox SmartGlass was first rumored to make an appearance at E3 this week but has now been revealed to the public. A couple days ago, 14U revealed their thoughts on the new feature and said that Xbox SmartGlass will eventually kill the Wii U. Now a video game journalist from Pocket-lint, Stuart Miles, thinks that the Wii U is irrelevant because of the fact that Xbox SmartGlass exists.

Square Enix released another trailer for their upcoming game, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. This trailer is brief and mainly focuses on the two main protagonists of the game, Sora and Riku. The trailer confirms that you will play as both Riku and Sora in order to complete the adventure. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will be released in July.

Last week, Natsume announced that Harvest Moon: A New Beginning will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Natsume promised to show-off their new game during E3 on June 5th to June 7th but gave IGN an early look at the upcoming Harvest Moon with several pictures from the game.

Chasing Aurora was recently announced for Wii U’s digital store. The game is made by Broken Rules who are the developers behind the WiiWare game And Yet It Moves. Broken Rules released a teaser trailer a couple months ago (shown above ) and confirmed that the game will be available for download on Wii U in late 2012.

Nintendo released a global Nintendo Direct video revealing new information about the upcoming Wii U game console, including details about the system’s touch-screen controller, the Wii U GamePad. In the video, Nintendo Global President Satoru Iwata illustrates how Wii U will revolutionize how people connect with games, each other and entertainment through the system’s unique and integrated second-screen controller. The Nintendo Direct video included information about...

During the pre-E3 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said, “Wii changed the way friends and families interacted in the living room. Wii U does what Wii did – only better. And at the same time, it is something entirely new.” Wii U will be fully backward compatible with Wii games. The Wii U will support the Wii Remote, Nunchuk and Wii Balance Board so players can choose from a variety of control methods that fit their style.

Nintendo’s president, Satoru Iwata, said that “not only will you see high quality console graphics on the big screen TV, but those images can be displayed on the Wii U GamePadwithout delay – something no existing handheld game devices can do.”

Iwata reconfirmed that you don’t need the TV screen in order to play Wii U games and said you can move anywhere in the “living room” as you play on the controller. If someone wants to use the TV while you are playing games on it, you can simply switch the video game display to your Wii U GamePad and continue playing.

Nintendo detailed many functions of the Wii U GamePad during the pre-E3 Nintendo Direct. Nintendo revealed that you can use it as a universal TV remote - all you have to do is press the TV Control Button, which is just left of the Power Button. Nintendo also promised that the Wii U GamePad will act as a TV guide by showing information about television programs on its touchscreen.

2.- During the four-minute ‘Miiverse‘ trailer, the actor is playing with a black Wii U GamePad. The black Wii U console is seen as the TV screen is shown. Up until the Pre-E3 Nintendo Direct, the Wii U was always known as a white-colored console. The black Wii U may very well launch alongside the white one. Nintendo also revealed the Wii U Pro Controller, which was only shown in black.

Nintendo appeared to give us the first look at Super Mario Bros Wii U during today’s Nintendo Direct conference. We already know that Super Mario Bros Wii U is in development for the console, and that it’s based upon the E3 2011 Super Mario Bros Mii demo. Expect to see game, which is expected for launch, at Nintendo’s E3 presentation on Tuesday.
Mii Wara Wara is the name for Wii U’s hub, which is also a Japanese phrase that means “general noise and commotion created by a crowd.” Your Mii will be there as well as all other Miis made on your Wii U. Miis from “people who speak your language” will also be there. Miis who play the same games as you will be there. It’s basically an enormous Mii Plaza for everyone where Wii U gamers can interact and share similarities.
