1.- A writer for Famitsu magazine spent time with a demo of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and now we have some new details about the game.
More After the Break...
From the demo we learn that the main character, either Sora or Riku, is now fighting alongside two completely new allies.
This means that those who have wanted someone other than Donald and Goofy in the story will finally get their wish. The demo also revealed that there would be a new type of enemy in the game that are neither Heartless nor Nobodies.
And finally, the person from Famitsu noted that the fights are more impressive than ever, with lighting effects surpassing those of previous games and movements more stylish than ever.
2.- A new animation from College Humor has been published via Nintendo Video. It’s known as “BearShark” and is described as “When Bear and Shark team up, nobody’s safe on land or sea.”
3.- And now to economical Nintendo 3DS news. Former Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi has reportedly lost around $312 million due to Nintendo’s stock price taking a sharp drop.
4.- EA CEO John Riccitiello has told Games Industry that the company plans to move away from the 3D space as they see very little return on investment. EA are more interested in pursuing the social and online gaming marketplace. All in all, they think 3D is a waste of time...
“We see really high returns in these markets and very poor returns focusing on 3D, so we are allocating our resources toward new innovations,” Riccitiello told stockholders at EA’s annual meeting.
5.- Amazon US are rather strangely emailing customers who pre-ordered Mondao (Xenoblade Chronicles' Americanized name) that their orders will be shipped out August 28th.
Nintendo of America has so far refused to say whether the game is coming to the United States. It should also be mentioned that the game didn’t feature on yesterdays product list from Nintendo. Is it a trick?
