1.- The story in Chronoblade has been revealed to centre around Freyja, a mage warrior who travels to a parallel world in another dimension of time in order to prevent the slaughter of her people.
In order to gain the power needed to stop her people’s demise she must travel the world looking for “special clock pieces.”
Here's the first part. The game is just amazing, and is coming out October 2,011 in the US & Europe.
3.- European online video game retailer Shopto has told UK trade publication MCV that Xenoblade Chronicles is suffering from stock shortages due to unprecedented last-minute demand for the title.
Clearly demand has already exceeded Nintendo’s expectations so this can only be good news for US Wii owners.
4.- EA has taken rather an aggressive stance when it comes to promoting their games these days with EA corporate communications man Jeff Brown really taking the fight to Activision. Brown firmly believes that Activision’s immensely popular Call of Duty franchise will be dead in two to three years time, which presumably means Battlefield will roam free.
”Welcome to the big leagues Eric — I know you’re new in the job but someone should have told you this is a competitive industry.
“You’ve got every reason to be nervous. Last year Activision had a 90 share in the shooter category. This year, Battlefield 3 is going to take you down to 60 or 70. At that rate, you’ll be out of the category in 2-3 years. If you don’t believe me, go to the store and try to buy a copy of Guitar Hero or Tony Hawk.”

5.- Mega Man X2 has just been rated by the ESRB for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console. Generally Virtual Console games are released in Japan first before coming to North America, but it looks as though this title should be coming to North America first. No word of a release date as of yet but it should be just around the corner.
