1.- We’re expecting to see Monster Hunter announced for the 3DS at the Tokyo Game Show and Mizuho Securities, an analyst firm in Japan has a similar expectation.
More After the Break...

They believe Capcom’s share price will rise because “it is expected that Capcom will announce new entries in major series like Monster Hunter at the Tokyo Game Show.” As andriasang reports though:

It’s not fully clear if Mizuho has learned of a specific Monster Hunter announcement, or if they’re just saying that major titles like Monster Hunter will be announced.
Let’s just hope they know something specific and that it’s for the 3DS.

2.- Here is a Seven-minute preview of Star Fox 64 3D, which is coming out this September. This video is meant to be a preview video taken from the Japanese Version of the game, which is already out:

As an additional 25th anniversary treat for fans who purchase the game early, every copy in the initial production, whether sold by itself or as a part of the limited-edition bundle, will come with a free CD featuring select orchestral arrangements of iconic music spanning the history of the franchise

4.- The immensely popular free to play online game Runescape should be coming to Nintendo consoles in the not too distant future. Jagex, the development team behind the game has stated that they’re planning to bring the game to Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo platforms.

Fingers crossed that the game will be cross console compatible.

5.- Tokyo Hunter has posted some fantastic models of Zero Suit Samus and Samus standing proud in her Power Suit.
The models are currently only available for purchase in Japan but let’s hope someone brings them over to the West..

6.- Nintendo America has officially announced the release date for the fourth entry in the Professor Layton series. Professor Layton and the Last Spector begins a new trilogy that is a prequel to the original games, set three years before the events in Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

As a North American exclusive to the overall Professor Layton and the Last Specter package, a bonus role-playing game called Professor Layton’s London Life containing more than 100 hours of additional content will be available to players from the start of the game. The game launches October 17th.

7.- Go! Go! Kokopolo is a DSiware game about a cat named Kokopolo who, after being woken from a nap, vows to take revenge on the forest creatures.

Keith Webb, the creator of the game has said he would like to bring the game to the 3DS, explaining that it would not be a straight port. Instead, it would be more of a sequel with new levels and characters. He notes that a level editor could be added to a 3DS version.
