1.- The Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, has hinted to Game Informer that the next Zelda game for the Nintendo 3DS will be reliant on 3D to offer a brand new gameplay experience to players.
Aonuma said that he expects to be able to do something “very interesting” on the system. He gave me one highly suggestive hint, leading me to believe that the team is further along than just thinking about the new title: “It will be a game in which having 3D will mean something.”
The Nintendo 3DS press conference will be taking place this evening at 11pm EST / 9pm PST. I won’t be able to cover the event live as it will be 5 am here in Spain and blogging at that time would be ridiculous.
There’s good news however as Nintendo Japan will be providing a live stream of the event so make sure to tune in.
He also mentioned that it would be a game where having 3D would mean something. And while this isn’t an outright confirmation that an original Zelda game is coming soon or anything like that, it does sound like Nintendo are at least thinking about an originalZelda game on the 3DS.
2.- Koichi Ogawa, a portfolio manager at Daiwa SB Investments Ltd. in Tokyo has told Bloomberg that Nintendo really needs to embrace the social networking arena along with the mobile space to be relevant. If Nintendo doesn’t intend to address these things at tomorrows press conference then Ogawa predicts stock in the company will decrease to a dangerous point.
3.- Coro Coro magazine have unveiled a sequel to PokéPark Wii Pikachu’s Adventure. The game will be known as PokéPark 2: Beyond The World in Japan and will be released later this year.
The game will feature multiplayer and a host of other new features. Expect to hear more at this weeks Tokyo Game Show which begins on Thursday.

If Nintendo doesn’t intend to address these things at tomorrows press conference then Ogawa predicts stock in the company will decrease to a dangerous point.
The creator of the “Super Mario Bros.” franchise should introduce more major titles at today’s 3DS conference or consider developing games for social networks to restore investor confidence in a stock that’s tumbled more than 80 percent since its 2007 high, analysts said. President Satoru Iwata, bracing for the game maker’s lowest profit in 26 years, is seeking to win back users who are content to play games on Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s iPhone and Facebook Inc.’s online service.
“Nintendo should consider embracing social networks, even though it’s going to be a latecomer. Even with the price cut, it’s hard to lure consumers as various platforms including the iPhone and iPad are available now. Those people won’t use 3DS to play cards or mah-jongg.”
“Nintendo should better explain why the company isn’t embracing the surging market for games on social networking services such as Facebook.”

We’ve seen a few screenshots of Monster Hunter Tri G on the 3DS already, but these new scans give us a slightly broader view of the game:
5.- Eiji Aonuma the producer behind the Legend of Zelda series has told Game Informer that the Zelda Wii U demo was just a rough idea and that the actual game will look significantly better. Would you prefer the realistic Zelda shown in the trailer or another cell shaded adventure?
6.- Online gaming publication TSSZNews is reporting that Sega are preparing two Sonic games for Wii U. The first game is Sonic Generations, which will be making its debut on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this Christmas. The second game is an entirely new Sonic title developed for Wii U. Maybe we will hear more about these games at this weeks Tokyo Game Show.
We've heard that Sonic Generations is not coming to the Wii U. But a different source is saying that a port is possible for system's launch if "sales of existing versions far exceed SEGA's internal expectations." Even if that doesn't happen though, there is supposely a secondary Sonic title in the works for the Wii U, but we're unsure of anything more specific. Keep in mind, this is a rumor. But it doesn't sound too farfetched.
7.- Christian Svensson, the Senior Vice President of strategic planning and business development at Capcom, has told fans on the Ask Capcom forums that the chances of Capcom releasing the prototype for Mega Man Legends 3 are ‘extremely slim’.
French gaming site P-Nintendo are reporting that Nintendo plans to offer five different Wii bundles to consumers this Christmas. The plans were reportedly discussed at a reseller meeting that took place in Disneyland Paris. You’ll notice one bundle is priced higher than the others, could this be The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Wii bundle.

”The demo that we showed at E3 was really just more of a rough idea of if all we were to do was to take a Zelda game and put it in HD, this is what it might look like.
“We’re much more interested in looking at the power of the Wii U system and seeing how we can take advantage of that power to do things that we haven’t been able to do in a Zelda game before….
“One of our goals with [Skyward Sword] is to be the first step in illustrating for people how the Zelda series can change and evolve.”

Regarding the prospects of a Wii U Generations port, our source indicates Sega could prepare it for the system’s launch sometime next year, but only if sales of existing versions far exceed Sega’s internal expectations. Even if that doesn’t pan out, the source says there indeed is a Sonic in the works for the system, and it is likely another secondary title. If that holds, it would continue Sega’s strategy of keeping primary fare on XBOX 360 and PS3, while Nintendo consoles get their own unique games.
7.- Christian Svensson, the Senior Vice President of strategic planning and business development at Capcom, has told fans on the Ask Capcom forums that the chances of Capcom releasing the prototype for Mega Man Legends 3 are ‘extremely slim’.
The “demo” boasted over three hours of high quality content — environments to explore, intractable NPCs, and ten playable missions. For all intents and purposes, this puppy was ready for launch.
“Sorry guys, but I’d bet the chances of the prototype ever materializing are extremely slim. As always, I do appreciate the passion and desire though.”
